Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UZ7602ZM — 11.55V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C32N2108)
This is an 11.55V, 8200mAh (94.71Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED. It fits the UZ7602ZM chassis and replaces OEM part numbers C32N2108 and 0B200-04180000. If your original cell has swollen, lost significant capacity, or stopped charging altogether, this is the direct swap.
- UZ7602ZM compatibility: The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED uses a three-cell Li-Polymer pack with a 32-pin smart connector. The BMS handshake communicates charge state and health data over that bus to the BIOS. This cell matches that connector pinout and communicates the correct EEPROM parameters so the firmware recognises it immediately on boot.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We installed this cell in a UZ7602ZM unit and cycled it through charge and discharge under sustained CPU plus OLED display load. The BMS held voltage steady across the draw curve and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold without tripping prematurely.
- First-cycle reset on the UZ7602ZM: After installing, run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to rewrite its state-of-charge table against the new cell. Skip this step and the fuel gauge IC will carry stale data from the old pack for several cycles.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after swapping the C32N2108
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED BIOS reads health data stored in the battery pack's EEPROM. When a new cell arrives, that EEPROM holds factory default values that do not match the BIOS's learned charge history from the old pack. The firmware interprets the mismatch as degradation and flags a poor health warning. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted full charge resets the learn cycle and clears the warning. If the warning persists after two full cycles, check that the BIOS is on the latest firmware before replacing the cell again.
Laptop shutting off at 20–30% charge shown on the UZ7602ZM
This symptom points to a voltage cliff — the cell drops below the minimum threshold the board will sustain under full CPU and OLED panel load, even though the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. It happens most often when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual discharge curve. Run two or three full discharge-to-hibernate cycles without interrupting the charge. After calibration, the gauge will flag the low-voltage cliff earlier and the shutdown will align with a more accurate percentage. If the shutdowns persist past three cycles, check battery voltage under load with a multimeter at the connector — it should hold above 9.9V at the point of cutoff.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is showing the new battery as 0% or "unknown" in Windows — is the cell faulty?
This is an EEPROM mismatch, not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC in the new pack has not yet synced its state-of-charge data with the BIOS learn cycle. Plug in the charger and leave it uninterrupted until Windows reports 100%, then run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff. After that first complete cycle the gauge IC recalibrates and the 0% or unknown reading clears.
Why does Windows report the new C32N2108 as 72Wh when the spec is 94.71Wh?
Windows reads the design capacity figure stored in the pack's EEPROM, which is set at the factory before the cell's full chemistry is characterised. That stored Wh value can differ from the actual rated capacity. The cell itself delivers the correct energy — this is a reporting difference, not a capacity shortfall. After two or three full charge and discharge cycles the fuel gauge IC updates its logged figures and the reported Wh reading moves closer to the rated 94.71Wh.
The new battery stops charging at 80% and will not go higher — what is causing that?
The Asus BIOS on the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED includes a Battery Health Charging feature that caps charge at 80% by default to reduce long-term cell stress. This is a firmware setting, not a fault with the replacement cell. Open MyASUS or the BIOS power settings, find Battery Health Charging, and switch it to Full Capacity Mode. The battery will then charge to 100%.
