Fits Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED UX9702AA, replaces OEM part C41N2110.
15.48V, 4800mAh lithium-polymer pack delivers 74.3Wh for the foldable display and processor.
Connector seats flat against the motherboard with a single friction latch locking the cell horizontally.
We bench-tested the BMS against the Zenbook's 15.6V charge window; fuel gauge IC calibrated cleanly across five charge cycles.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702AA) — 15.48V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C41N2110)

This 15.48V, 4800mAh (74.3Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces the OEM C41N2110 cell in the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702AA). It powers the foldable 17-inch OLED panel, the processor, and all onboard components. The 0B200-04220000 is the alternate OEM reference for the same unit.

  • Zenbook 17 Fold OLED compatibility: The UX9702AA runs a 4-cell Li-Polymer stack at 15.48V to handle both the full-size OLED load and the hinge-flex routing. The connector pinout and BMS handshake are specific to this chassis — no other Zenbook series shares this cell configuration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, discharge, and full CPU-plus-display load on the UX9702AA. The BMS negotiated charge termination correctly and held voltage above the low-battery shutdown threshold under sustained display brightness.
  • Post-install calibration on the Zenbook 17 Fold: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The Zenbook's BIOS battery learn cycle needs this reset — skipping it leaves a false "poor health" warning in MyASUS that won't clear on its own.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after swapping the C41N2110

The Zenbook 17 Fold BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM. When a new cell goes in, that EEPROM data is gone, and the BIOS flags the battery as degraded before it has run a single cycle. This is a firmware interpretation issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS to rewrite the health register. After that cycle, MyASUS and Windows Battery Report should show accurate figures.

Zenbook 17 Fold shutting down at 20–30% battery remaining

This happens when the cell hits a voltage cliff — the point where voltage drops sharply under full CPU and OLED panel load faster than the fuel gauge IC can track. The BIOS sees a sudden voltage sag, interprets it as empty, and triggers an emergency shutdown even though the state-of-charge percentage still reads 20–30%. A degraded or poorly calibrated cell reaches that cliff earlier in the discharge curve. Run the full calibration cycle described above, and check that charge reaches at least 16.1V at the termination point before disconnecting power.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Zenbook 17 Fold BIOS shows the new battery as 0% or "unknown" right after installation — what causes that?

The BIOS pulls capacity and health data from the previous cell's EEPROM. With a new cell installed, that data is absent, so the firmware reports 0% or unknown until it builds a new reference. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single learn cycle, the BIOS rewrites the health register and the reading normalises.

Windows fuel gauge is jumping around wildly — showing 60%, then 45%, then 70% within minutes on the Zenbook 17 Fold — is the battery faulty?

The fuel gauge IC inside the Zenbook calibrates itself against the actual discharge curve of the cell it's paired with. A brand-new cell has no measured discharge history, so the IC is essentially guessing for the first few cycles. This is normal behaviour after any cell swap and is not a fault. Run two to three full charge-discharge cycles and the fuel gauge IC will lock onto the correct curve — readings will stabilise after that.

The replacement battery stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — is this a cell defect?

This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Asus firmware includes a battery health charging mode that caps charge at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress — it ships enabled on many UX9702AA units. Open MyASUS, go to Customization, and check Battery Health Charging. Switch it to Full Capacity Mode and the next charge cycle will continue past 80% to 100%.
