Fits Dell Latitude 15 3570, Latitude 3560, and Latitude 3570 — replaces OEM part 0098N0.
11.1V, 5200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full charge capacity to this 15-inch Dell notebook.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with single locking tab — no force required.
We bench-tested this cell in a Latitude 3570 charging dock; BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears health warnings that appear after cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dell Latitude 15 3570 / 3560 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (0098N0)

This is an 11.1V, 5200mAh (57.72Wh) lithium-ion replacement battery for the Dell Latitude 15 3570, Latitude 3560, and Latitude 3570. It replaces OEM part numbers 0098N0, 451-BBPT, VVKCY, and several cross-reference variants. Fit the battery, run a calibration cycle, and the laptop regains full portable operation away from a wall outlet.

  • Latitude 3560 / 3570 platform fit: These two models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both, with no adapter or pin modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a Latitude 3570 and confirmed the BMS handshake completed correctly, charge acceptance reached full capacity, and the protection circuit tripped at the correct over-discharge threshold without nuisance cutoffs.
  • First-cycle calibration on Dell Latitude units: After installing this cell, discharge the laptop to automatic hibernate, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell's actual capacity and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after replacement

Dell's BIOS reads health data stored in the battery's EEPROM, not from live cell measurements. When a new cell arrives, that EEPROM data does not match the BIOS's accumulated charge history for the old pack. The system flags the mismatch as a fault. One complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the learn cycle and clears the warning without any firmware changes.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% battery shown on screen

This symptom points to a voltage cliff — the cell voltage drops sharply under combined CPU and display load before the fuel gauge IC expects it. The gauge IC was calibrated against the old, degraded cell and still expects its flatter discharge curve. After two or three full calibration cycles with the new cell, the gauge re-learns the voltage-to-capacity mapping and the early shutdowns stop. If the problem persists past three cycles, check the cell voltage at the connector with a meter — it should read above 10.5V at the 20% indicated mark.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dell BIOS shows "Consider replacing your battery" the moment I installed the new cell — why?

The BIOS reads health data from the battery's EEPROM, and that data doesn't match its stored history for the old pack, so it throws the warning immediately. It's not a defect in the replacement cell. Run one full discharge to automatic hibernate, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this completes the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the message.

Windows shows the wrong Wh rating in Device Manager after I swapped the battery — is that a firmware mismatch?

The Wh figure Windows displays is pulled from a static value written in the battery's EEPROM at the factory, which may differ slightly from the actual chemistry rating of the replacement cell. This is a data label difference, not a fault. The cell will still accept and deliver its full 57.72Wh regardless of what Device Manager reports, and the reading typically self-corrects after one or two full charge cycles.

My fuel gauge is jumping around — showing 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes of unplugging. What's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the Latitude 3560/3570 board was calibrated against the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell has a different curve shape. Until the gauge IC builds new reference data, it interpolates badly and the percentage reading swings. Run three full discharge-to-hibernate, charge-to-100% cycles without interruption. By the third cycle the gauge IC has enough data to track the new cell accurately and the jumping stops.
