Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 11IGL05 — 11.52V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L19C3PF8)
This is an 11.52V, 3150mAh (36.29Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 11IGL05 series. It fits the 11-inch 2-in-1 convertible chassis and connects using the original three-cell BMS handshake. OEM part numbers L19C3PF8, L19M3PF8, SB10X02592, SB10X02595, 5B10X02593, and 5B10X02604 all cross to this cell.
- Flex 3 11IGL05 series fit: Every variant in this series — from the 82B20024IV to the 82B2001MUK and 119 additional sub-models — shares the same connector pinout, BMS communication protocol, and 11.52V three-cell rail. One cell covers the full range.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell in an 11IGL05 chassis and confirmed the BMS authenticated without fault codes. The charge controller accepted the cell and climbed to full capacity without triggering a protection cutoff.
- Post-install calibration on the Flex 3: After fitting, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff under normal load — screen on, browser active — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after a cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after replacement
The Flex 3 BIOS reads health data from EEPROM values stored on the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the BIOS compares live readings against the old cell's stored profile and flags a mismatch as poor health. This is a data conflict, not a fault with the new battery. Run one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. That single learn cycle overwrites the stale EEPROM baseline and clears the warning.
Laptop shuts down at 20–30% remaining after battery swap
This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The IC still maps percentages against the old cell's discharge profile, so it calls 20–30% as the cutoff point when the new cell still has usable capacity. Under full CPU and display load, the voltage sag accelerates the miscalculation. Two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles recalibrate the IC — after that, the gauge tracks accurately and shutdowns stop well above 15V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Lenovo Flex 3 shows a new battery at 0% and won't detect it at all — is the cell dead?
Not likely. The Flex 3 BIOS holds EEPROM data from the old cell, and until it runs a learn cycle it can report 0% or "unknown" for the replacement. Connect the charger and let the cell charge uninterrupted to 100%, then run it down to hibernate cutoff once. That single cycle gives the BIOS enough data to read the new cell correctly. If it still shows 0% after a full charge, reseat the battery connector and check for a bent pin on the three-cell harness.
Windows shows this battery as 36Wh but Lenovo Vantage shows a different Wh rating — which is right?
The Wh figure in Lenovo Vantage reads from the EEPROM on the cell itself, which stores the rated capacity from the manufacturing profile. The 36.29Wh value in Windows reflects live chemistry measurements. A small difference between the two is normal — the EEPROM value is set at the factory and doesn't update as the cell cycles. If Vantage shows something significantly lower than 36Wh, run the battery learn cycle first; a fresh calibration cycle often brings both readings into alignment.
The Flex 3 stops charging at 80% after I swapped the battery — is the replacement faulty?
The cell is not faulty. Lenovo's BIOS includes a firmware-controlled charge limit that caps charging at 80% when "Battery Conservation Mode" is active in Lenovo Vantage or the BIOS power settings. This setting persists through a battery swap. Open Lenovo Vantage, go to Power, find Battery Charge Threshold or Conservation Mode, and switch it off. The battery will then charge to 100%.
