Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Razer Blade 15 Base — 15.2V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (RC30-0351)
This is a 15.2V, 4000mAh (60.8Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Razer Blade 15 Base laptop. It fits models listed under RZ09-0369x. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge and the laptop won't run untethered from AC power.
- Blade 15 Base and RZ09-0369x compatibility: These models share the same 15.2V four-cell Li-Polymer architecture, identical connector pinout, and the same BMS communication protocol over the SMBus line. A single cell fits all variants in this group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Blade 15 Base unit. The BMS negotiated charge termination correctly at full capacity, and the SMBus handshake confirmed cell recognition without error flags in the firmware.
- Post-install recalibration cycle: After fitting this battery, run the laptop on battery power down to automatic hibernate cutoff — do not force shutdown. Then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
Why the Blade 15 Base shuts down at 20–30% after a battery swap
The Blade 15 Base draws hard on the battery when the CPU and GPU boost simultaneously under gaming load. A new cell's EEPROM carries no discharge history, so the fuel gauge IC has no learned model of the cell's voltage curve. The system firmware sees the voltage drop under load and interprets it as a critically low charge state, triggering shutdown even when the indicated percentage reads 20–30%. Running two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to map the new cell's actual voltage profile.
BIOS reporting battery health as "poor" or "replace" immediately after installation
This is an EEPROM mismatch, not a fault with the replacement cell. The old battery wrote its degradation data and cycle count to the system's battery health registers, and those values persist after a swap. The BIOS reads stale data from its own stored record rather than pulling fresh readings from the new cell. Run the Razer Synapse battery calibration tool, or complete one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by a full uninterrupted charge — the health warning clears once the learn cycle writes new baseline data at 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Razer Blade 15 Base fuel gauge is jumping around wildly after I put in the new battery — is it broken?
The fuel gauge IC calibrates itself against a cell's discharge curve over the first few cycles. A brand-new cell has no history in the IC's model, so state-of-charge readings are inaccurate until the IC has reference points. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by full uninterrupted charges. By the third cycle the gauge stabilises and tracks accurately.
The replacement battery is showing the wrong Wh rating in Windows — it says something different from 60.8Wh.
The Wh value Windows displays is read from the EEPROM on the battery PCB, which stores the rated design capacity at manufacture. The figure can differ from measured capacity once the cell is under load and temperature conditions in your specific unit. This is a data-field difference, not a fault — check Device Manager under Batteries and confirm the voltage reads 15.2V and status shows "Charging" or "Fully charged." If the voltage is correct, the cell is functioning as expected.
My Blade 15 Base stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — is the new battery defective?
This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the cell. Razer Synapse includes a "Battery Health Charging" mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long plugged-in sessions. Open Razer Synapse, go to the Battery section, and switch the charge limit from "Balanced" or "Max Battery Health" to "Full Charge." The battery will then charge to 100%.
