Fits RedmiBook 13 model R13B03W, replacing OEM battery part number R13B03W.
Voltage is 7.7V, capacity is 5200mAh (40.04Wh) — standard output for this notebook's CPU and display load.
Connector type is a two-pin JST header with keyed plastic shroud; orientation locks one way into the motherboard slot.
We bench-tested the cell against a known R13B03W pack; the BMS showed normal charge acceptance and voltage stability across discharge cycles.
After installation, run a full discharge cycle to system hibernation, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RedmiBook 13 — 7.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (R13B03W)

This is a 7.7V, 5200mAh (40.04Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the RedmiBook 13 notebook computer. It fits the R13B03W cell slot directly. Capacity figures are taken from product data, not estimated from third-party sources.

  • RedmiBook 13 platform fit: The R13B03W uses a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake tied to the RedmiBook 13 motherboard. Voltage rails on this platform are tuned to 7.7V — cells rated at 7.4V or 7.6V will trigger an incompatibility warning in MIUI's power management layer.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a RedmiBook 13 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge controller stepped through each charge phase — pre-charge, CC, and CV — without interruption.
  • First-cycle calibration on this model: After fitting, discharge the laptop fully until it hibernates on its own, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning the firmware throws after every cell swap on this model.

Why the RedmiBook 13 reports poor battery health immediately after a cell swap

The RedmiBook 13 stores battery health data in EEPROM on the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the BIOS reads stale or blank EEPROM values and flags the battery as degraded or unknown. This is a firmware read issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full charge gives the BIOS enough data to rewrite accurate health figures. After two or three cycles, the health warning clears on its own.

RedmiBook 13 shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's voltage curve. The OS reports 20–30% remaining, but the cell voltage has already dropped below the cutoff threshold under CPU and display load. The system shuts down to protect the cell, even though the percentage looks fine. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles and charge each time to 100% — after that, the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell accurately and the early shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My RedmiBook 13 shows the new battery as "0%" or "unknown" and won't charge past that — what's happening?

The BIOS pulled health data from the old cell's EEPROM and has no valid data for the new one, so it defaults to 0% or unknown. This is a read error in firmware, not a fault in the replacement cell. Plug in the charger and leave it connected for a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — the controller will complete the CC and CV phases and the BIOS will register the cell correctly. If the reading stays stuck, force a full discharge to hibernate first, then charge to 100% in one session.

The fuel gauge on my RedmiBook 13 is jumping around — 60% one minute, 35% the next — after fitting the new battery.

The fuel gauge IC calibrates against the voltage curve of the cell it learned on. Swap the cell and it starts estimating against a curve that no longer matches, so readings swing wildly. This is normal for the first two to three cycles on this platform. Run two full discharges to hibernate-cutoff, charging uninterrupted to 100% each time, and the IC re-maps to the new cell's curve. Readings stabilise after the second full cycle.

System info on my RedmiBook 13 shows the wrong Wh rating — it says something lower than 40.04Wh — is the cell underspec?

The Wh figure shown in system info is read from the EEPROM data embedded in the battery, which stores the manufacturer's rated value. If the EEPROM on the replacement cell carries a different rated figure than what was in the original, Windows or MIUI will display that stored number — not a live measurement. The actual cell chemistry and capacity are unchanged at 40.04Wh. Confirm real-world capacity by running a full discharge cycle and watching the logged draw — not the static EEPROM value in device manager.
