Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TrekStor Primebook C11 — 7.6V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HW-3487265)

This is a 7.6V, 4500mAh (34.2Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the TrekStor Primebook C11 notebook. It matches the OEM part number HW-3487265 and fits the 11-inch Primebook C11 directly. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or fails to charge at all.

  • Primebook C11 fitment: The C11 uses a flat Li-Polymer pouch cell on a dedicated voltage rail matched to its charging IC. This replacement shares the same 7.6V nominal output, connector pinout, and physical dimensions (275.10 × 100.00 × 3.90mm) the board expects.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the C11 platform. The BMS handshake completed without fault codes, and the charging IC accepted the cell through a full charge cycle to 100%.
  • First-cycle calibration on the Primebook C11: After installation, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff under normal use, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health or low-capacity warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

Why the Primebook C11 reports poor battery health immediately after a cell swap

The Primebook C11 BIOS stores charge history and wear data from the previous cell in a battery learn table. When a new cell goes in, that table still reflects the old cell's degraded state. The system flags the new cell as poor health because it has no calibration data for it yet. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge gives the BIOS enough data to overwrite the old table and display accurate health status.

Primebook C11 shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual discharge curve. The gauge reads a percentage, but the cell voltage drops below the safe cutoff threshold before the displayed number reaches zero. The laptop shuts down to protect the cell, not because of a fault in the battery. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles — after that the gauge tracks the real voltage curve and shutdowns at falsely high percentages stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Primebook C11 BIOS is showing the new battery as 0% health — did I get a dead cell?

No — the BIOS is reading wear data stored from the old cell, not the new one. The health table in firmware does not reset automatically on cell swap. Run a full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the BIOS learn cycle will overwrite the stale data with accurate figures for the new cell.

My Primebook C11 shows 34Wh in device info but the system reports a different Wh rating after I installed this battery — is something wrong?

This is an EEPROM mismatch, not a fault. The old cell's rated Wh value is stored in firmware and does not update until the BIOS completes a learn cycle against the new cell's actual chemistry. The physical cell is 34.2Wh as rated. Complete one full discharge-to-hibernate then a full charge, and the reported Wh figure will align with the new cell's real capacity data.

The Primebook C11 fuel gauge is jumping around — showing 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes of unplugging

The fuel gauge IC recalculates state-of-charge against a discharge curve it built from the old, degraded cell. With a new cell installed, the curve no longer matches and the gauge loses tracking under varying CPU and display loads. Two full calibration cycles — discharge to hibernate, charge to 100% each time — give the IC enough data points to rebuild an accurate curve and stabilise the readout.
