Fits Schenker Technologies Key 15 laptop; replaces OEM battery CS-CLP950NB.
15.2V at 3500mAh (53.2Wh) restores full charge cycles on the Key 15 after degraded cell performance.
Connector type and locking tab match the original pack; no modification needed for seat or orientation.
We bench-tested the cell through five full discharge cycles; BMS held voltage stability under sustained CPU load without cutoff.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schenker Technologies Key 15 — 15.2V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 15.2V, 3500mAh (53.2Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Schenker Technologies Key 15 laptop. It fits the Key 15 chassis directly, restoring portable operation when the original cell has degraded or failed. Voltage and connector match the OEM cell.

  • Key 15 platform compatibility: The Key 15 uses a 15.2V four-cell Li-Polymer architecture. The BMS on this platform checks cell voltage balance and connector pinout before allowing charge current. This replacement matches both, so the EC firmware accepts it without handshake errors.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and a full CPU-plus-display load cycle. The BMS held charge current steady and did not trip the overcurrent cutoff at peak draw. Cell voltage at end of discharge matched the rated low-cutoff threshold.
  • Post-install recalibration on the Key 15: After fitting this battery, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff under normal load, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the embedded controller to reset its battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning the BIOS throws after every cell swap.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after fitting this cell

The Key 15 embedded controller stores learned capacity data from the old cell in its EEPROM. When a new cell goes in, that stored data no longer matches actual cell behaviour, and the BIOS flags poor health immediately. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — the EC rewrites its fuel gauge baseline against the new chemistry. After two to three cycles the health reading normalises.

Laptop cuts out at 20–30% battery remaining after the swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's voltage-curve map. Under combined CPU and display load, voltage drops faster than the stale curve predicts, and the EC triggers an emergency shutdown before the display gauge reaches zero. The fix is the same calibration cycle — discharge fully to hibernate cutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. After two full cycles the voltage curve resyncs and the shutdowns stop. If they continue past three cycles, check the BIOS charge settings for any active charge-limit override.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Key 15 BIOS is showing the new battery as 0% health — is the cell faulty?

The BIOS reads health data written by the previous cell's learn cycle, not live readings from the new cell. Until the embedded controller runs a full learn cycle against the new chemistry, it reports bad data. Discharge the laptop fully to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After two complete cycles the health figure will reflect the actual cell state.

The OS fuel gauge is jumping around wildly — reads 60%, then 40%, then 75% — what is happening?

The fuel gauge IC calibrates itself against charge and discharge curves from the old cell stored in firmware. A new cell with slightly different chemistry throws off those predictions until the IC recollects real data. Run two to three full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles without interrupting them mid-way. After that the gauge IC has enough data points to track the new cell accurately and the erratic readings stop.

The replacement battery shows 53Wh in device manager but Windows says 47Wh actual capacity — is that normal?

The Wh figure in the battery's EEPROM reflects the rated capacity of the cell chemistry, while Windows calculates full-charge capacity from the actual charge current logged during your first few cycles. Before the fuel gauge IC finishes calibrating, the two figures will not match. Run two full discharge and charge cycles and the Windows-reported Wh will converge toward 53.2Wh. If it stays well below that after three full cycles, check that the charge was not interrupted at 80% by a BIOS charge-limit setting.
