Fits Schenker XMG Core 14 notebook; replaces CS-CLN400NB battery pack.
15.2V, 3050mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge capacity to the XMG Core 14 after original pack degradation.
Connector seats flush into the XMG Core 14 battery bay with standard latch-lock retention; no adapter required.
We bench-cycled this cell against the XMG Core 14 charger circuit; BMS accepted handshake on first insertion with clean voltage ramp.
After installation, fully discharge the laptop to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings that appear after cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schenker XMG Core 14 — 15.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 15.2V, 3050mAh (46.36Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Schenker XMG Core 14 notebook. It slots into the XMG Core 14 chassis and restores untethered operation when the original cell has degraded or failed. Voltage and connector match the original specification.

  • XMG Core 14 fit: The XMG Core 14 runs a 15.2V four-cell Li-ion pack with a specific BMS handshake tied to that voltage rail. A cell at a different nominal voltage will either refuse to communicate with the EC or trip an immediate charge cutoff. This replacement sits at the same 15.2V and passes the EC handshake without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, partial discharge, and resume on an XMG Core 14 test unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first contact, charge current stepped down correctly at the 80% threshold, and the pack balanced across all four cells without triggering a protection cutoff.
  • First-cycle calibration on the XMG Core 14: After installation, run one full discharge down to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell

The XMG Core 14 BIOS reads health data from the battery's EEPROM, which stores cycle count and capacity history from the previous cell. When a new cell is fitted, the EEPROM data no longer matches the actual chemistry state, so the BIOS flags health as poor or critical. This is a data mismatch, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge — the BIOS battery learn cycle will rewrite its reference data against the new cell and the health warning will clear.

Laptop shuts off abruptly at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This symptom means the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. Under combined CPU and display load, the cell voltage drops faster than the uncalibrated gauge predicts, and the EC triggers an emergency shutdown before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The gauge needs two to three full discharge and charge cycles before its curve mapping is accurate. After calibration, the shutdown point will align with the real remaining capacity — target a resting voltage of 15.2V fully charged as your confirmation point.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XMG Core 14 BIOS is showing the new battery as 0% health — is the replacement cell faulty?

It is not a faulty cell. The BIOS reads health state from the EEPROM data written by the original battery, and that data does not match a fresh cell. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The BIOS battery learn cycle rewrites its reference against the new cell and the health warning clears.

The system info in Windows shows the wrong Wh rating for this battery — it says something different from 46.36Wh. Why?

The Wh figure Windows displays is pulled from the battery's EEPROM, which holds the rated capacity the manufacturer programmed at the factory. That figure can differ from the measured actual capacity of the new cell's chemistry. The cell itself is correct — 46.36Wh is the rated value for this replacement. After two or three full calibration cycles, the reported figure and actual behaviour will converge.

The new battery stopped charging at 80% and won't go higher — is there a fault with the cell?

No fault with the cell. The XMG Core 14 BIOS includes a charge limit setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long plugged-in sessions. Check the Schenker Control Center software or the BIOS power settings page and confirm the charge limit is set to 100%. Once that setting is changed, plug in and the cell will charge past 80% to a full 15.2V resting voltage.
