Fits Thunderobot IGER S1 laptop; replaces original 15.2V battery pack.
15.2V at 3050mAh delivers 46.36Wh — sufficient for standard gaming and productivity loads on this platform.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with positive and negative contacts aligned; locking tab on left side secures the pack.
We bench-tested this cell on IGER S1 hardware; BMS accepted the handshake at first insertion and charged to full without fault codes.
After installation, discharge the laptop to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Thunderobot IGER S1 — 15.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 15.2V, 3050mAh (46.36Wh) Li-ion battery for the Thunderobot IGER S1 gaming laptop. It replaces the original cell when the laptop no longer holds charge off the adaptor. Voltage and form factor match the original pack exactly.

  • IGER S1 platform fit: The IGER S1 uses a 15.2V four-cell lithium pack with a fixed connector orientation. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector pinout, so the BMS handshake completes and the laptop powers on without a firmware flag.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on this cell and logged BMS communication throughout. The protection circuit engaged correctly at low-voltage cutoff and charge termination triggered cleanly at full capacity.
  • First-cycle calibration on the IGER S1: After fitting, run the laptop on battery until it reaches hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The IGER S1's fuel gauge IC needs this full sweep to calibrate against the new cell — skipping it leaves the BIOS reporting inaccurate health or capacity figures for the first several sessions.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting this cell

The IGER S1 stores battery health data in EEPROM on the original pack. When a new cell goes in, that stored data is gone and the BIOS flags the battery as degraded or unknown before any calibration has occurred. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a complete uninterrupted charge cycle. After that learn cycle, the BIOS reads the new cell correctly and the health warning clears.

Laptop shuts down abruptly while showing 20–25% charge remaining

This happens because the fuel gauge IC calibration is off after a cell swap — the percentage shown no longer maps to actual cell voltage. Under full CPU and display load, the IGER S1 draws hard enough to expose the voltage cliff before the gauge catches up. The pack hits minimum cell voltage and the BMS cuts output while the OS still shows charge remaining. Fix this by completing two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles so the fuel gauge IC relearns the new cell's voltage curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

My IGER S1 BIOS shows the replacement battery Wh rating as lower than what's printed on the pack — is the cell wrong?

The Wh figure the BIOS displays is pulled from EEPROM data, which defaults to the original cell's rated value until calibration cycles have run. The physical cell is 46.36Wh as rated. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted charge-to-100% cycles — after that the system recalculates from actual measured capacity and the Wh figure aligns with the cell.

The IGER S1 fuel gauge jumps around wildly during the first few sessions — 60% one minute, 35% the next.

The fuel gauge IC on the IGER S1 uses accumulated charge and discharge data to track state of charge. After a cell swap, that historical data no longer matches the new cell's chemistry, so the gauge swings erratically until it has enough real-world cycles to recalibrate. This settles after three to four full cycles from hibernate-cutoff back to 100%. Do not rely on the percentage reading until those cycles are complete.

New battery installed in the IGER S1 but Windows shows it as "0% — plugged in, not charging" right after fitting.

This usually means the BMS did not complete its handshake on first connection — commonly caused by residual charge in the board's capacitors confusing the protection circuit. Shut the laptop down fully, disconnect the adaptor, hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain the board, then reconnect the adaptor first and power on. If the system still shows 0%, the cell voltage may have dropped below the BMS recovery threshold during storage — leave the adaptor connected for 30 minutes at rest before powering on again.
