Fits Schenker XMG Core 15 M22, XMG Neo 15, and XMG Core 15 notebooks using 15.2V lithium-polymer chemistry.
15.2V, 4000mAh capacity delivers 60.8Wh for sustained CPU and display power on this 15-inch platform.
Connector seats flush into the proprietary Schenker battery slot with positive latch — no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell on XMG Core 15 M22 hardware; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes or charge limiting.
After installation, run one full discharge to sleep-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS fuel gauge calibration against the new cell and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schenker XMG Core 15 M22 — 15.2V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 15.2V, 4000mAh (60.8Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Schenker XMG Core 15 M22 gaming and productivity notebook. It also fits the XMG Neo 15, XMG Core 15, and XMG Core 17 series. Voltage, connector, and BMS handshake match the original cell specification.

  • XMG Core and Neo 15/17 platform fit: These models share a common 15.2V four-cell Li-Polymer architecture, the same physical connector, and a compatible BMS communication protocol — so one cell works across the full platform without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an XMG Core 15 chassis. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination landed correctly at 16.8V, and discharge cutoff triggered at the expected low-voltage threshold.
  • Post-install BIOS learn cycle: After fitting this cell, run a single full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on XMG hardware.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after fitting a new cell

The XMG BIOS reads health data from EEPROM records written during the original cell's service life. When a new cell goes in, those records are stale — the BIOS compares current charge cycles against old capacity data and flags the battery as degraded. This is a firmware accounting problem, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running the learn cycle (full discharge to hibernate, then uninterrupted charge to 100%) prompts the BIOS to rewrite its reference data against the new cell. After one or two full cycles, the health indicator returns to normal.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The IC still uses its old low-voltage reference, so when the cell voltage drops under combined CPU and display load, the system sees it as empty and cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a defective cell — it is a calibration lag. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles. After the second cycle, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its curve and the shutdowns stop occurring above 5–8% remaining.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XMG Core 15 M22 shows the new battery as 0% or "unknown" in Windows immediately after fitting — what's wrong?

The fuel gauge IC inside the laptop pulls state-of-charge data from EEPROM records tied to the old cell. When those records don't match the new cell's chemistry signature, Windows reports 0% or unknown because the IC hasn't yet mapped the voltage curve. This isn't a faulty battery. Charge the cell fully to 100% without interruption, then let it discharge to hibernate cutoff — this forces the IC to write a fresh calibration baseline. After one complete cycle, the OS gauge reads accurately.

System info shows this battery as 60Wh but the BIOS is displaying a different Wh rating — which is correct?

The BIOS reads the Wh rating stored in the cell's EEPROM, which reflects the rated capacity programmed at manufacture and may differ slightly from the actual electrochemical capacity of the replacement cell. The 60.8Wh figure in the product data is the measured capacity of this specific cell. The BIOS figure is a firmware label, not a live measurement. No action is needed — the cell delivers its full capacity regardless of what the BIOS label displays.

The replacement battery won't charge above 80% on the XMG Core 15 — is the cell faulty?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Schenker and Clevo-platform laptops include a battery conservation mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during AC-connected use. Check Control Center or the XMG ControlCenter app under battery settings — the charge limit toggle is there. Disable the limit, then plug in and charge. The cell will accept a full charge to 100% once that firmware cap is lifted.
