Fits Palm Treo 850, Treo 850w, Treo Pro, and Drucker — replaces OEM part 3343WW.
3.7V, 2400mAh capacity restores full talk time and standby duration on this business PDA.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a locking tab — no adapter needed.
We ran a full charge cycle on a Treo 850w; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
Perform a full data sync to your host computer before removing the original battery — the Treo stores open files and application state in RAM powered by the main cell, and removing it without syncing causes data loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Palm Treo Pro / Treo 850 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (3343WW)

This is a 3.7V, 2400mAh Li-ion cell for the Palm Treo 850, Treo 850w, Treo Pro, and Drucker. It replaces OEM part numbers 3343WW, 157-10105-00, 35H0014-00M, and CM-2. The battery powers the device's processor, display, wireless radio, and RAM-backed application state.

  • Treo 850, 850w, Treo Pro, and Drucker fit: These devices share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, battery footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a Treo Pro. The BMS handled charge termination correctly and held steady voltage under radio-active data loads without tripping low-voltage cutoff prematurely.
  • RAM data protection before swap: Sync all open data to your PC or Exchange server before removing the battery. The Treo 850 series stores active application state and unsaved data in volatile SRAM — it is powered directly by the main cell, and a full power removal wipes it instantly.

Why the Treo 850 loses contacts and calendar data on battery removal

The Treo 850 uses SRAM for active storage, which requires continuous power to retain data. When the battery drops out — even briefly — that memory clears. Unlike flash-stored data, anything not synced to a host or written to persistent storage is gone permanently. Always run ActiveSync or a Palm Desktop sync before pulling the cell, and verify the sync completed before disconnecting.

Treo 850 stuck on boot loop or black screen after new battery installed

A freshly shipped Li-ion cell may arrive at 30–50% state of charge, which is sometimes below the minimum voltage the Treo's boot sequence requires to initialise the radio and OS loader. The device stalls partway through boot or shows nothing at all. Connect the charger before attempting to power on and let the cell reach at least 3.6V. Once the charge LED activates and holds steady, attempt a normal boot.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Treo Pro lost all my contacts and calendar entries after I swapped the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it happens because the Treo Pro stores active data in SRAM, which is volatile memory powered directly by the main battery. The moment the old cell is removed and before the new one seats, power drops and SRAM clears completely. The fix is to run a full ActiveSync or Palm Desktop sync to your PC before removing the battery — verify the sync completed successfully, then swap the cell.

My Treo 850 battery drains much faster than expected when I'm using wireless email — what's drawing it down?

The wireless radio on the Treo 850 is the single largest current draw on the cell, and it runs continuously when push email or data sync is active. Add the backlit 320×320 display and background processes, and real-world draw is significantly higher than standby figures suggest. If you're seeing faster drain, check that the wireless radio isn't staying active between sync intervals — setting manual sync intervals instead of push reduces radio-on time and extends the charge cycle noticeably.

The Treo 850w shows a charging indicator but the battery percentage won't climb past 1% — what's wrong?

This usually means the cell discharged below the BMS recovery threshold and the charger is in trickle/pre-charge mode trying to bring the voltage back up to a level where normal charge can begin. It can take 20–40 minutes before the percentage moves. Leave the device connected to a wall charger — not a USB port — and do not interrupt the charge. If the indicator is still stuck at 1% after 60 minutes, the cell has likely entered a locked-out state and will need a full replacement cycle from a charged cell above 3.0V.
