Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Clifford 7752X / 7752V / 7351V — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 120mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the factory battery inside Clifford remote start and keyless entry transmitters — specifically the 7752X, 7752V, and 7351V remotes. At 24.70 x 20.30 x 3.70mm, it slots into the original battery bay without modification. Voltage and footprint match the OEM spec exactly.

  • 7752X, 7752V, and 7351V platform: These three remotes share the same 3.7V power rail, battery bay dimensions, and connector orientation. One cell covers all three without any adapter or wiring change.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS held voltage within the expected 3.7V nominal range and showed no erratic cutoff behaviour during the test.
  • Re-sync after battery swap: Clifford remote start systems lose their pairing handshake when the transmitter loses power. After fitting the new cell, run the programming sequence for your specific Clifford control module before expecting the remote start or entry functions to respond.

Remote start not activating after battery swap

Clifford's remote start control modules use a rolling-code or fixed-code handshake that the transmitter stores in memory. When the battery is removed, that memory loses power and the stored code drops. The module receives a signal from the remote but rejects it because the code no longer matches. Putting the system into programming mode — typically by cycling the ignition or using the valet button sequence — and re-presenting the remote re-establishes the link.

Range noticeably short immediately after fitting a new cell

Li-polymer cells ship at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — not at a full 3.7V charge. At storage voltage, transmit power is slightly lower, which cuts usable range until the cell reaches full charge. Plug the remote into its charger or charge via the vehicle's native charging method before testing range. After one full charge cycle, the cell settles at its rated voltage and range returns to normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Clifford remote start worked fine before I swapped the battery — now pressing the button does nothing. What happened?

The transmitter lost its stored code when power was interrupted during the battery swap. The control module is receiving the signal but rejecting it because the code no longer matches what it has on file. You need to re-enter programming mode on the control module — usually a valet button press sequence or ignition cycle — and then press the remote button to re-pair. Check the Clifford installation guide for your specific module's programming steps.

The alarm triggered on its own right after I put the new battery in the remote — why did that happen?

Some Clifford modules interpret a sudden power restoration to the transmitter as a tamper event, especially if the remote was out of range or powered off during the swap. The module flags it and activates the alarm output. Run the system's standard disarm sequence — typically holding the remote's disarm button within range of the vehicle — to clear the tamper state and silence the alarm.

My Clifford 7352X remote is locking the car fine but keyless entry isn't responding to the unlock button after the battery replacement. Could the new battery be the problem?

Lock and unlock commands use separate rolling-code counters on some Clifford systems. If the unlock counter drifted out of sync during the power interruption, the module will accept lock presses but reject unlock. Hold both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously within about one metre of the vehicle to force a rolling-code re-sync. If the module still doesn't respond, re-enter programming mode and re-present the remote to reset both counters.
