This 3.7V 85mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the JFC302223 cell inside Clifford remote start and keyless entry transmitters. It fits the 7941X, 7756X, 7756V, and 3706 key fob remotes. Swap it in when your transmitter stops activating the vehicle or loses range.

• 7941X / 7756X transmitter platform: These Clifford fob models share the same 3.7V Li-Polymer cell footprint, connector pitch, and BMS handshake with the control module. One cell covers the entire group.

Remote start not activating after battery swap

Clifford remote start modules use a rolling code between the transmitter and control unit. When the fob cell drops to zero, that code state is lost. You need to complete the re-sync procedure specific to your Clifford system, which typically involves turning the ignition on and off in a timed sequence while pressing the transmitter button. Li-Polymer cells ship at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V rather than a full 3.7V charge. At storage voltage, the transmitter's RF output is slightly below its rated power level, which shortens effective range. Use the remote a few times near the vehicle to confirm pairing, then charge the fob via your vehicle's process or let it cycle naturally. Range normalises once the cell reaches full charge voltage.
