Fits Arcitec RQ1060, PT920/21, RQ1090, and RQ1250 electric shavers with 3.7V Li-ion chemistry.
3.7V, 750mAh delivers full motor torque throughout the charge cycle on this rotary head shaver.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot; locking tab seats flush with the housing frame.
We bench-tested this cell in an RQ1060 under load — BMS held steady through discharge, no early cutoff.
On first insertion, the shaver motor may hesitate for two seconds while the BMS initializes; this is normal and clears after the first full cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Arcitec RQ1060 / RQ1090 / RQ1250 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion battery replaces the internal cell in Arcitec rotary shavers including the RQ1060, RQ1090, RQ1250, and PT920/21. It slots into the same cell position as the factory unit, connecting to the same BMS board. No OEM part number is published for this cell — the fit is confirmed by voltage, physical dimensions (49.60 × 14.76 × 14.76mm), and connector spec.

  • RQ1060 / RQ1090 / RQ1250 platform: These models share the same internal cell cavity, BMS architecture, and charging circuit. A single replacement cell spec covers the full range — voltage rail and connector pinout are identical across all four fit models listed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the RQ1060 chassis. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, held charge correctly, and released current to the motor without triggering premature cutoff under normal rotary load.
  • Wet-shave charging precaution: If you rinse the shaver head under running water, let the housing air-dry for at least 30 minutes before placing it on the charging dock. Moisture sitting in the charging port bridges the contacts, and the BMS reads that as a protection fault — the shaver appears dead rather than wet.

Capacity fade from daily partial charging on the RQ1060

Shavers used twice daily and topped up on the dock every morning rarely complete a full discharge cycle. Li-ion cells in shallow-cycle patterns lose accurate state-of-charge calibration over time — the indicator stays green longer than the actual charge warrants. The BMS's fuel gauge drifts because it never sees a reference point at the bottom of the curve. Running the shaver to full cutoff once every three to four weeks resets that reference and keeps indicator readings accurate.

Motor speed dropping before the indicator shows low

When the battery cell degrades, its internal resistance rises. Under the rotary motor's load, voltage sags faster than the BMS's state-of-charge model predicts — the motor slows noticeably while the indicator still shows charge remaining. This is voltage sag under load, not an indicator fault. A fresh cell at 3.7V nominal eliminates the resistance gap that causes the sag. After fitting the replacement, confirm the cell charges to 4.2V at full capacity before first use.

Frequently Asked Questions

My RQ1060 shaver cuts out mid-shave even though the indicator was still showing charge — why?

This is voltage sag under motor load. As a Li-ion cell ages, its internal resistance rises, and the motor's current draw pulls the voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold before the indicator reaches empty. The indicator reads state-of-charge at rest, not under load — so the two readings diverge. Fitting a fresh cell restores the voltage headroom and eliminates the premature cutoff.

I rinsed my shaver and now it won't charge at all — is the battery dead or is it something else?

Water in the charging port is the most likely cause, not the battery itself. Moisture bridging the dock contacts triggers a BMS protection trip, and the shaver reports it as a dead battery rather than a charging fault. Leave the housing port-down and air-dry it for at least an hour, then attempt charging again. If the fault clears, the cell is fine — if the shaver still won't charge after full drying, inspect the charging contacts for corrosion before replacing the battery.

The shaver feels warm after a few minutes of use — is that the battery overheating?

Some heat is normal in a compact housing where the motor and battery are in close proximity during discharge. The BMS monitors cell temperature and will trip a thermal protection cutoff if the threshold is exceeded. If warmth is new or the shaver shuts off during use, check that the rotary heads are clean — clogged heads increase motor load, which increases discharge current and heat generation. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance also runs cooler than a degraded one under the same load.
