Fits Simu model 2447-3031-02 and related smart home motorized blind systems; replaces OEM battery 9019673.
10.8V at 2600mAh delivers stable power to motor drives and control circuits in automated window coverings.
Connector type matches original housing; slides into battery slot with positive terminal facing forward and locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested the cell under continuous motor load — BMS held voltage stable through full discharge cycle without early cutoff.
After installation, wait 60 seconds before expecting reconnection; smart home devices perform mesh network re-join after power interruption that requires a full minute.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Simu 2447-3031-02 / 9019673 — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 10.8V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in Simu motorised window covering and automated blind systems. It fits models 2447-3031-02, 9019673, 2008797, and 9020569. Voltage and cell count match the original pack so the onboard motor controller sees no mismatch on startup.

  • Cross-model compatibility — 2447-3031-02, 9019673, 2008797, 9020569: These four Simu units share the same 10.8V three-cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. One cell pack covers the full group.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through motor-drive and idle states. The BMS held charge across full travel sequences without triggering overcurrent cutoff, and cell balance remained stable through repeated discharge cycles.
  • Post-install reconnect window: After fitting this battery, leave the blind controller powered on for at least 60 seconds before operating it. Simu smart home units run a mesh network re-join sequence after any power interruption — triggering a travel command before that sequence completes can cause the motor to ignore the first command or log a communication fault.

Why Simu blind motors drain batteries faster when network traffic is high

Simu automated blind systems stay in low-power sleep between commands, but the wireless receiver wakes on every polling ping from the hub. If your smart home hub is set to poll devices frequently — every 30 seconds or less — the receiver wakes dozens of times per hour. That duty cycle adds up fast and the cell depletes well ahead of its rated capacity. Check your hub's polling interval and set it to 5 minutes or longer for blinds that don't need real-time position feedback.

Low battery alert fires immediately after fitting a new cell

This happens when a replacement pack has been sitting in storage and its resting voltage has dropped below the alert threshold the controller uses — typically around 10.0V for a 10.8V nominal pack. The controller reads the cell voltage on first boot and flags it before the pack has had any chance to recover. Connect the unit to its charging source and allow a full charge cycle to complete. Once the pack reaches 12.6V, the alert clears and the controller resumes normal operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Simu blind went offline right after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back on the network?

This is the mesh re-join sequence, not a pairing fault. After a power interruption, Simu controllers re-announce themselves to the hub — this takes up to 60 seconds. Leave the unit powered and do not send any commands during that window. If it's still offline after 90 seconds, trigger a manual position command from the app to force a status handshake.

The hub lost my Simu blind after the battery change — it shows as an unknown device now

A full power loss can cause the hub to drop the device from its pairing table, which is different from a temporary offline status. Open your smart home app, go to device settings, and run the add-device or re-pair sequence while the blind controller is powered on. The controller broadcasts its pairing signal for roughly 3 minutes after a fresh power-on — start the pairing flow within that window.

My Simu blind battery is draining much faster than the original — what's causing it?

The most common cause is a high polling interval on the hub side — if the hub pings the device every 30 seconds or less, the wireless receiver wakes constantly and draws steady current even when the blind isn't moving. Check your hub's device polling settings and set the interval to 5 minutes or longer for this device. If drain continues at the same rate, check whether any automation routines are sending repeated position-check queries to the blind controller throughout the day.
