Fits Amazfit Fit model A1805 smartwatch, replacing OEM battery part number PL472020V.
This 3.8V, 190mAh Li-Polymer cell restores multi-day runtime to aging Amazfit Fit watches.
Connector is a two-pin pogo contact pad; align flat side toward the charging contacts.
We bench-tested this cell in A1805 hardware — BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% before wearing — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazfit A1805 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL472020V)

This is a 3.8V, 190mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Amazfit A1805 smartwatch. It replaces the original PL472020V battery when the watch can no longer hold a charge through a normal day. Dimensions are 20.40 × 19.90 × 4.70mm — measure your existing cell before fitting if you are unsure.

  • A1805 platform fit: The A1805 uses a compact Li-Polymer pouch cell on a 3.8V nominal rail. The connector pinout and cell footprint match the OEM PL472020V spec, so the replacement seats in the same bay without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the A1805 platform. The onboard BMS accepted the new cell without fault flags, and the charge circuit stepped down correctly from CC to CV phase at the expected cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge re-initialisation after swap: Place the watch on its charger immediately after fitting this cell. Charge it to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on the A1805 loses its reference when the original cell is disconnected — it cannot recalibrate until it sees a full charge cycle from near-zero on the new cell.

Why the A1805 reports wrong battery percentages after a cell swap

The A1805 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state relative to a stored baseline. When you remove the old cell, that baseline is lost. The IC wakes up on the new cell with no reference point and guesses — badly. This causes the watch to show 85% on a nearly empty cell, or drop from 60% to 0% in minutes. A full charge-to-100% cycle from near-zero resets the counter and restores accurate reporting.

Watch not pairing to phone after battery replacement

Removing the battery ends the active BLE session between the A1805 and the paired phone. The phone retains the old device record, but the watch boots as if it has never paired. Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the Amazfit device entirely, then re-pair through the Zepp app from scratch. Do not attempt to reconnect directly from the Bluetooth menu — the app handles the authentication handshake that the system Bluetooth menu skips.

Frequently Asked Questions

My A1805 dropped from 40% to dead in under an hour after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

Almost certainly not. The fuel gauge IC on the A1805 loses its charge reference when the original cell is removed, so percentage readings are unreliable until the IC recalibrates. Place the watch on its charger now and charge it fully to 100% without interruption. After one complete charge cycle from near-zero, the gauge resets its baseline and percentage drops like that stop.

The new battery drains in a single day on my A1805 — the old one used to last several days even when it was worn out.

The most common cause is always-on display combined with continuous heart rate monitoring running simultaneously. Both were likely throttled on the degraded original cell because low voltage triggered the BMS to limit sensor current. The new cell delivers full voltage, so all active features run at full draw. Disable always-on display and set heart rate monitoring to interval mode rather than continuous — that alone cuts draw significantly and restores multi-day use.

My A1805 magnetic charger isn't making contact properly after I reassembled the watch.

Reassembly can shift the internal frame slightly, which moves the charge contact pads out of alignment with the magnetic connector. Remove the back cover again and check that the ribbon cable and battery are fully seated flat — any lift in the pouch cell can bow the rear case enough to break contact. Reseat everything, replace the back cover with even pressure around the full perimeter, then test the charger connection before sealing.
