A deeply discharged Li-ion cell can drop below the minimum acceptance voltage for USB-C Power Delivery negotiation. Connect the speaker using the original cable and leave it on charge for 20–30 minutes without interruption — the charge IC uses a low-current preconditioning stage to bring the cell back up to the threshold voltage before switching to normal charge mode. If the indicator still does not appear after 30 minutes, check the cable and port for debris. The cell needs to reach approximately 3.0V before the main charge cycle begins.
