Fits Asus MeMO Pad ME170C tablet; replaces OEM part C11P1327 and 0B200-00950000.
3.8V 3900mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 14.82Wh; matches the original power envelope for this 7-inch display and WiFi chipset.
Connector seats flat against the board with a single locking tab on the left edge; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested the cell against the ME170C fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted the new pack on first charge with clean handshake and no fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration and corrects the inaccurate battery percentage that appears after a swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus MeMO Pad ME170C — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1327)

This is a 3.8V 3900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Asus MeMO Pad ME170C 7-inch Android tablet. It fits the ME170C, Fonepad 7" Dual SIM phablet, and K012 variants that share the same cell footprint and connector. Use the OEM part number C11P1327 or 0B200-00950000 to confirm fitment before ordering.

  • ME170C and K012 platform fit: These models share the same 3.8V single-cell Li-Polymer architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell covers both the standard MeMO Pad and the Fonepad dual-SIM variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the ME170C mainboard and confirmed the BMS initialised correctly, charge termination triggered at 4.35V, and the protection circuit responded to overcurrent within spec.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a replacement.

Why the ME170C shuts down at 15–25% remaining

The fuel gauge IC on the ME170C is calibrated against the original cell's internal resistance profile. When a new cell is installed, the IC does not yet know where the actual voltage cliff sits. Under combined display and Wi-Fi load, the cell voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts, and the protection circuit cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets this mapping and resolves the early shutdown.

Fast charging unavailable on the ME170C after battery replacement

The ME170C charge IC negotiates charge rate based on a completed charge handshake with the battery BMS. On a fresh cell, this negotiation has not yet occurred, so the charger defaults to standard rate on the first cycle. After one full accepted charge cycle at standard rate, the IC recognises the cell and fast charge becomes available through supported chargers. If it still does not activate after two full cycles, check that the original Asus charger is in use — third-party adapters often lack the voltage negotiation signal the charge IC expects.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ME170C shows 40% battery then just turns off — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's resistance profile, so it cannot predict the voltage cliff accurately under real load. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the IC against the new cell. After that cycle, unexpected shutoffs at mid-percentage typically stop.

The battery percentage on my ME170C is dropping faster than it should from a full charge — what's wrong?

This is fuel gauge drift caused by the IC reading a new cell through a calibration map built for the degraded original. The percentage is inaccurate, not the capacity. Complete one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a single uninterrupted charge to 100%. That one cycle resets the gauge reference points and the drop rate will normalise.

My ME170C feels warm on the back while charging after I swapped the battery — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first two or three charge cycles is normal. The charge IC on the ME170C runs a conditioning pass on a new cell, which draws slightly more current than a routine top-up on an aged cell. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch or the warmth persists beyond the third full cycle, check that the connector is fully seated flat against the board — a partially seated connector increases resistance at the contact point and generates heat.
