Fits Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 tablet; replaces OEM part numbers L24D2P31 and SB18E12521.
3.91V nominal, 8400mAh capacity delivers full charge cycles equivalent to original cell output.
Connector clips into the battery slot with vertical orientation; locking tab secures against frame contact points.
We bench tested this cell at full discharge under WiFi and display load; BMS voltage regulation stayed flat across the discharge curve.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 — 3.91V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L24D2P31)

This is a 3.91V, 8400mAh (32.84Wh) lithium-polymer cell for the Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 tablet. It matches OEM part numbers L24D2P31 and SB18E12521. The cell powers the display, processor, and all internal components through normal tablet use.

  • XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 fit: The L24D2P31 cell uses a connector pinout and BMS handshake that match the XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 charge controller. The fuel gauge IC communicates with the tablet's system board over the same voltage reference lines as the original cell — no adapter or firmware workaround needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 board. The BMS accepted charge negotiation on the first cycle, and the charge controller reported correct cell state without tripping any protection flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell. Skipping this step causes the tablet to report inaccurate percentages in the first few days of use.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery replacement

The XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 shuts down early when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. Under combined display and WiFi load, voltage sags faster than the uncalibrated gauge predicts. The system reads that sag as a critically low state and triggers a forced shutdown before the actual charge is depleted. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% realigns the gauge and stops early cutoffs.

Fast charging not available after fitting the L24D2P31 cell

USB-PD negotiation between the charger and the tablet's charge IC resets after a battery swap. On the first charge, the system may fall back to standard 5V input while it re-establishes the power contract. This is normal behaviour — it is not a fault with the cell. Disconnect the charger fully, wait 10 seconds, reconnect, and the USB-PD handshake completes at the correct voltage. If fast charging still does not appear after the second connection, confirm the charger output is at least 18W at 9V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XiaoXin Pad Pro 2024 is showing a completely different battery percentage than what I'd expect — jumping around or stuck after I put in the new battery. What's going on?

The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, so it reads the new cell inaccurately. This shows up as erratic jumps, a stuck percentage, or a reading that does not match actual charge level. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging. That single cycle recalibrates the gauge IC and stabilises the percentage display.

The tablet cuts out at around 20% and won't turn back on until I plug it in — this only started after the battery swap. Is the new cell faulty?

The new cell is not faulty. Under combined screen brightness and WiFi load, voltage dips faster than the uncalibrated fuel gauge expects — the system interprets that dip as a critically low state and forces a shutdown. The actual cell still has charge left. Complete the recalibration cycle: discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the early-cutoff shutdowns stop.

The tablet feels noticeably warm while charging the new L24D2P31 cell. Should I be concerned?

Warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal. The charge IC on a new lithium-polymer cell runs a conditioning pass that generates more heat than a settled cell does. We measured this during bench testing and the temperature stayed within the charge controller's safe operating range. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — disconnect the charger and check that the USB-PD handshake has completed at 9V rather than falling back to a higher-than-rated input.
