Fits Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet, replacing OEM part T9500C.
This 3.7V 9500mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full capacity to aging tablets that shut down prematurely or no longer charge past 80%.
Connector type is flat flex to the proprietary Samsung charge port; locking tab seats flush without forcing.
We bench-tested this cell in a Galaxy Note 12.2 WiFi unit — BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and eliminate inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (T9500C)

This is a 3.7V, 9500mAh (35.15Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet range. It fits the Galaxy Note 12.2 WiFi, 3G, and LTE 32GB variants. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the tablet dies mid-session despite showing charge remaining.

  • Galaxy Note 12.2 variant compatibility: The WiFi, 3G, and LTE 32GB models all use the same T9500C cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One battery covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge and discharge cycle on the Galaxy Note 12.2 platform. The BMS accepted charge negotiation without error, balanced cell voltage correctly, and reported state-of-charge to the OS throughout.
  • Fuel gauge IC recalibration after swap: After installing this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that almost always appear immediately after a battery swap on this tablet.

Galaxy Note 12.2 shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

This is a voltage sag issue. Under combined display and WiFi load, the tablet draws enough current that a depleted or poorly calibrated cell drops below the BMS cutoff voltage before the fuel gauge reaches 0%. The shutdown happens mid-use because the OS percentage readout lags behind actual cell voltage. After installing a new T9500C cell, run the full recalibration cycle — one complete discharge to shutoff, then a full uninterrupted charge — and the shutdowns at partial charge should stop.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement on Note 12.2

Samsung's adaptive fast charge protocol requires at least one completed charge cycle before the charge IC on the new cell negotiates correctly with the charging adapter. Immediately after a swap, the tablet may default to standard charge rates. Plug in the original Samsung fast charge adapter and let the first charge cycle complete fully to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charge availability should restore and the charge IC handshake completes on all subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Galaxy Note 12.2 shows 40% battery but shuts down immediately — is this a faulty battery or something else?

This is almost always fuel gauge drift, not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated against your old battery's discharge curve and is misreading the new cell's voltage profile. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff — do not manually power it off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle, the IC recalibrates and the percentage should track accurately without random shutdowns.

The Note 12.2 battery percentage is jumping around after the swap — it dropped from 80% to 55% in five minutes without heavy use.

The fuel gauge IC on the Note 12.2 stores calibration data tied to the original cell's internal resistance curve. A new T9500C cell has different impedance characteristics, so the IC misreports state-of-charge until it has a reference point. Let the tablet discharge completely to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without disconnecting. After one full uninterrupted cycle, the gauge latches onto the new cell's actual discharge curve and the percentage stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery — the Note 12.2 just trickle charges now.

Samsung's adaptive fast charge protocol requires the charge IC on the new cell to complete one accepted handshake cycle with the adapter before it negotiates higher charge rates. On the first cycle after a battery swap, the IC defaults to standard input until it has a completed reference cycle. Use the original Samsung fast charge adapter, plug in, and let the tablet charge to 100% without interruption or unplugging. Fast charge should activate from the second session onward once the handshake cycle completes.
