Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab Active SM-T360 and SM-T365 tablets; replaces EB-BT365BBU, EB-BT365BBC, and GH43-04317A.
3.8V and 4700mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this 8-inch rugged tablet after original cell degradation.
Connector inserts vertically into the battery slot; locking tab engages on the right edge during installation.
We cycled this cell against the SM-T360 fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted charge negotiation on first insertion without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the fuel gauge and resolves inaccurate percentage display common after battery swaps on this model.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active SM-T360 / SM-T365 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BT365BBU)

This 3.8V, 4700mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the EB-BT365BBU and fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active SM-T360 and SM-T365 — an 8-inch rugged tablet built for field and enterprise use. It matches the original cell footprint at 104 x 80 x 4.60mm and connects via the same factory connector and BMS interface. Capacity is rated at 17.86Wh.

  • SM-T360 and SM-T365 platform fit: Both variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both. The fuel gauge IC communicates charge state through the same data line on either board revision.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the SM-T365 board. The BMS accepted charge negotiation without fault flags, and the protection circuit responded correctly to low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force power-off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's actual voltage curve and clears the inaccurate percentage display that appears after a swap.

Galaxy Tab Active shutting down at 15–25% remaining

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop in the lower charge band than the worn cell the tablet previously learned from. When the display and WiFi radio draw current simultaneously, the combined load pulls the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold before the percentage counter reaches zero. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration. After that cycle, shutdowns at 15–25% stop.

Fast charging not available after battery swap

Samsung's adaptive fast charge protocol requires the charge IC and fuel gauge to complete at least one full accepted charge cycle before the tablet re-enables higher charge rates. Immediately after a swap, the system defaults to standard 5V charging as a safety fallback. This is not a fault with the cell. Charge the tablet fully once from low battery using the original Samsung charger, and fast charge will resume on the next session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Galaxy Tab Active shows 100% then drops to 60% within minutes of unplugging — what's wrong?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old battery's discharge curve, so reported percentages are meaningless until you run a calibration cycle. Discharge the tablet completely to automatic shutoff — let it power off on its own, don't force it — then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. One full cycle is usually enough to re-anchor the gauge to the new cell. After that, percentage reporting stabilises.

The Tab Active feels warm on the back during the first few charges after fitting this battery — is that normal?

Yes. The charge IC on a new lithium-polymer cell runs slightly warmer than on a partially degraded cell because it is accepting a higher current rate into a cell with full impedance headroom. Surface warmth during charging is normal in the first few cycles. If the tablet becomes hot to the point of thermal throttling or shuts down during charging, that is a different issue — check that the charge port is carrying clean voltage at 5V with a USB meter.

The tablet won't register any charge at all after fitting the new battery — screen stays black, no charging indicator

A completely discharged lithium-polymer cell can sit below the BMS re-initialisation threshold, so the protection circuit blocks charge input until the cell voltage rises above roughly 2.5–3.0V per cell. Connect the original Samsung charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing any buttons — the BMS will trickle-charge the cell back into the accepted voltage window and then switch to normal charging. If the indicator still doesn't appear after 30 minutes, confirm the connector is fully seated and the flex cable is not folded.
