Fits BobSweep APP220022 and Bob PetHair Appetite models, replacing OEM part H18650CH-2600-4S1P.
14.4V and 2600mAh capacity delivers 37.44Wh across four series cells for sustained floor cleaning performance.
Connector seats into the dock charging port with a positive-first alignment; locking tab engages on full insertion.
We ran a fresh charge cycle on a dock charger — BMS accepted the handshake immediately with no fault lights or resets needed.
Do not leave this battery docked continuously after reaching full charge; trickle current degrades capacity faster than removing it when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BobSweep APP220022 / Bob PetHair Appetite — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (H18650CH-2600-4S1P)

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the BobSweep APP220022 and Bob PetHair Appetite robotic vacuum. It slots into the same bay as the original pack and uses a 4S1P cell configuration. The OEM part number is H18650CH-2600-4S1P.

  • APP220022 and Bob PetHair Appetite compatibility: Both models share the same 14.4V power rail, battery bay dimensions, and BMS handshake protocol. The connector pinout and cell voltage range are identical across this platform, so one pack covers both units.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on a BobSweep platform. The BMS held the 4S cell balance within spec, and the overcurrent protection tripped correctly when we simulated a blocked brush roll — then reset cleanly once the load cleared.
  • Dock charging habit for this robot: Do not leave the BobSweep sitting on its charging dock between every run. Robotic vacuums on permanent dock contact trickle-charge continuously, which accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove the dock connection until the next scheduled clean.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The BobSweep motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is tangled with pet hair. At 14.4V nominal, even moderate restriction pushes draw past the BMS overcurrent threshold, causing the motor to throttle back while the battery gauge still reads mid-range. The indicator measures cell voltage, not motor load — so the gauge looks fine while suction has already fallen. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll first; if suction recovers immediately, the battery was not the fault.

Robot cuts out mid-cycle and then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the brush roll jams against debris or carpet fibres, current spikes sharply and the protection circuit opens the output to prevent cell damage. The BMS resets automatically once the load drops — typically within a few seconds — which is why the unit appears to recover on its own. Check the brush roll for wrapped hair and confirm the side brushes spin freely; sustained trips on a clear brush roll at 14.4V indicate a degraded cell that can no longer deliver peak current without sagging below the cutoff threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BobSweep finishes cleaning runs much faster than it used to — is the new battery at fault or something else?

A partially clogged filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor works harder and draws more current than rated, draining the 14.4V pack faster than normal even with a fresh battery. Clean the filter and empty the dustbin, then run a full cycle. If runtime returns to expected levels, the battery is not the problem — the motor was simply overworking against the restriction.

The BobSweep's suction feels weak right after it leaves the dock, even with a fully charged battery — what causes that?

Continuous dock charging degrades Li-ion cell capacity over time. When the robot sits on the dock permanently, the charger maintains a low trickle current that stresses the cells and reduces the total charge they can hold. A pack that reads full voltage at rest may still sag under motor load because the cells have lost usable capacity. Remove the dock connection once the charge cycle completes rather than leaving it plugged in indefinitely.

The BobSweep won't charge at all after fitting the replacement battery — what should we check first?

The charger communicates with the BMS before allowing current to flow, and a deeply discharged or newly installed pack can fail that handshake on the first attempt. Connect the charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without interruption — the BMS on a fresh pack sometimes needs a brief low-current pre-charge phase to initialise. If the charge indicator still shows nothing after that period, measure the pack's output voltage directly; a reading below 12V on a 14.4V nominal pack means the cells are below the BMS recovery threshold and the pack will need to be returned.
