This is a 14.4V lithium-ion replacement battery for the Eureka RX10 cordless vacuum cleaner. Capacity is 6700mAh (96.48Wh). It fits directly into the RX10 and restores the vacuum to working condition when the original cell has degraded.

• RX10 platform fit: The RX10 runs a 14.4V rail with a specific connector and BMS communication protocol. This cell matches that voltage, connector geometry, and BMS handshake — the vacuum powers on and charges normally without triggering a fault state.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge under simulated floor and carpet load. The BMS handled motor-start current draw without tripping, and the cell held voltage above the cutoff threshold throughout the discharge curve.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

On the RX10, suction loss often happens well before the battery LED signals low charge. The cause is voltage sag — when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted, the motor draws higher current. That current draw pulls the cell voltage below the motor's operating threshold before the indicator circuit registers depletion. Clear the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap first. If suction recovers, the battery was fine — the motor was working harder than the cell could sustain at that load.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw more than the BMS threshold allows, the BMS disconnects the cell to protect it, then resets automatically. The vacuum feels like it has cut out randomly, but the pattern repeats on carpet or upholstery where airflow is restricted. Clean or replace the filter, then check that the dust cup is not overfilled. If trips stop after clearing the restriction, the battery and BMS are functioning correctly.
