Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

COBBO PRO 27 / PRO 27+ — 14.4V Li-ion 6700mAh Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery pack rated at 6700mAh (96.48Wh), built to fit the COBBO PRO 27 and PRO 27+ cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the battery bay of either model and connects directly to the vacuum's motor and BMS circuitry. Replace it when your original pack no longer holds a useful charge or fails to power the unit through a full clean.
- PRO 27 and PRO 27+ compatibility: Both models run on the same 14.4V architecture and share an identical battery bay geometry and connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is the same across both, so one pack covers either variant without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated draw loads matching the PRO 27 motor profile. The BMS held cutoff thresholds correctly, recovered from low-voltage rest states cleanly, and did not trip under the sustained suction loads typical of carpet cleaning.
- Dock charging on the PRO 27: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion packs faster than normal cycle wear. Charge the pack to full, then remove it from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. A restricted airflow path forces the motor to work harder, pulling extra amps from the pack. The BMS reads this as a sustained high-draw event and begins throttling output voltage to protect the cells before the indicator registers low. Clean the filter first, then test suction. If suction recovers immediately, the battery was not the cause — voltage should hold above 13.0V at rest with a healthy pack.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or a tangled brush roll — the motor load spikes above the BMS current threshold and the pack cuts output to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the blockage or clean the filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If cut-outs continue on an unblocked machine, check that the pack voltage is at or above 14.4V after a full charge cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
My COBBO PRO 27 suction feels weak straight after fitting a new battery — is the pack faulty?
A new pack is unlikely to be the cause. Weak suction immediately after a battery swap almost always means the filter is partially blocked, forcing the motor to draw excess current and causing the BMS to throttle output voltage before the indicator shows low. Remove and clean the filter, then test again. If suction is still weak with a clean filter, check that the replacement pack is fully charged and reading at least 14.4V at the terminals.
The COBBO PRO 27 motor keeps cutting out and coming back during cleaning — what's triggering that?
That on-off pattern is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a dead pack. It happens when the nozzle or brush roll is partially blocked, pushing motor draw above the BMS threshold. The pack shuts output, the motor cools for a few seconds, the BMS resets, and power returns. Clear the blockage and clean the filter — if the cut-outs stop, the battery is working correctly. Persistent cut-outs on an unblocked machine point to a worn original pack that can no longer sustain rated voltage under load, which this replacement resolves.
We left the COBBO PRO 27 on the charging dock all the time and now the new battery seems to be fading fast — is that normal?
Yes — continuous dock charging is the single fastest way to degrade a Li-ion pack. When the pack hits full charge, the charger drops to a trickle mode that keeps cells at maximum voltage indefinitely, and sustained high-voltage storage accelerates capacity loss more than regular charge cycles do. Charge this replacement to full, then disconnect it from the dock and store the vacuum unplugged. Reconnect and charge only when the pack is noticeably depleted.
