Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

EZIclean Aqua Connect S200 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650-4S1P)
This 14.4V 3350mAh Li-ion battery pack replaces the original INR18650-4S1P cell in the EZIclean Aqua Connect cordless wet and dry vacuum range. It fits the S200, S250, X500, and X550 alongside eleven additional Aqua Connect models. Voltage and capacity match the factory spec exactly.
- Aqua Connect S200 / S250 / X500 / X550 platform: These models share the same 14.4V rail, INR18650-4S1P cell configuration, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell pack covers the full range without any modification to the connector or charge circuit.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack under load on the S200 motor assembly. The BMS held the discharge curve cleanly through carpet-load simulation and flagged overcurrent correctly on a blocked-filter draw spike — cutoff triggered at the expected threshold.
- Dock charging practice on the Aqua Connect range: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. The Aqua Connect charger does not drop to a true maintenance rate once full — continuous dock contact pushes a low-level trickle that accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the S200
The S200 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — airflow restriction forces the motor to work harder against back-pressure. This elevated draw causes voltage to sag earlier in the discharge cycle than the indicator expects. The indicator is calibrated for a clean, rated-draw discharge curve, so it lags behind the actual cell state under load. Check and clean the filter first; if sag persists with a clean filter, the cell itself has lost capacity and needs replacing.
Motor cuts out mid-clean, then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage or a heavily soiled filter, the motor draws beyond the BMS current threshold and the protection circuit opens. The pack resets once the draw drops — typically within a few seconds of releasing the trigger. Clear the blockage and inspect the filter before resuming. If the cutout keeps occurring on a clean filter, the pack's internal resistance has risen enough that normal motor-start current is breaching the trip point; at that stage, measure resting voltage — a healthy 14.4V pack should read between 15.8V and 16.8V off charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
My EZIclean Aqua Connect S200 loses suction well before the battery light shows low — is that a battery problem or something else?
Check the filter first. A partially clogged filter makes the motor draw more current than the discharge curve was calibrated for, which causes voltage to sag early while the indicator still reads mid-range. Clean the filter and run again — if suction holds longer, the filter was the cause. If sag continues on a clean filter, the cell has lost capacity and a replacement pack is needed.
The Aqua Connect X500 motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds during a clean, then restarts on its own — what is causing this?
That is the BMS overcurrent protection tripping, not a charging fault. Restricted airflow from a blocked filter or nozzle forces the motor to pull more current than the trip threshold allows, so the circuit opens temporarily. Remove the blockage, clean the filter, and try again. If it still trips on a clear filter, measure the pack voltage off charge — a cell with rising internal resistance will breach the BMS threshold even at normal motor-start draw; resting voltage should sit between 15.8V and 16.8V on a full charge.
I left my Aqua Connect S250 on the dock between every use and now it barely holds a charge — did the new battery fix this permanently?
Continuous dock contact was the cause. The Aqua Connect charger does not drop to a true float once the pack is full, and sustained low-level current into a Li-ion cell compresses the active material in the electrodes over time. The replacement pack will restore capacity, but the same pattern will repeat if the vacuum stays docked permanently. Charge to full, then lift the vacuum off the dock and store it separately.
