Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fmart E-550G/W — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh (38.48Wh) lithium-ion battery pack for the Fmart E-550G and E-550W cordless vacuum cleaners. It replaces the original pack when the cell capacity has dropped enough to reduce suction power or shorten cleaning sessions. Voltage and connector match the original unit directly.
- E-550G and E-550W compatibility: Both the G and W variants run the same 14.8V battery rail with an identical connector and BMS handshake. The shared platform means one pack covers both colour variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the E-550 platform. The BMS responded correctly to motor-start current draw, held stable voltage under sustained load, and tripped cleanly at the low-cell threshold without dropping the vacuum mid-use.
- Dock charging practice for the E-550: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses as a storage habit. The E-550 dock does not interrupt charge once full — continuous trickle current accelerates cell degradation. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor is pulling more current than the cell can cleanly sustain at mid-charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, increasing current draw and causing voltage to sag under load — even when the pack still reads mid-charge on the indicator. The BMS throttles output to protect the cells, which the vacuum reads as reduced power rather than a battery fault. Clear the filter and check for blockages in the brush head and hose before concluding the battery is at fault.
Motor cutting out and then recovering after a few seconds
This pattern points to a BMS overcurrent trip rather than a dead cell. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, jammed brush roll, or a tight carpet pile on maximum suction — the motor current spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack shuts the output rail. After a short cool-down the BMS resets and the vacuum restarts normally. The fix is to remove the restriction first: clean the filter, clear the brush roll, and if the problem persists on a clear machine, check that the pack is fully charged above 15.5V before running.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Fmart E-550 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — what's wrong?
This is motor voltage sag under load, not a faulty charge indicator. A partially blocked filter or brush roll forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes the cell voltage to dip even when charge level looks fine. The BMS reduces output to protect the cells, and the vacuum reads that as a suction drop. Clean the filter completely, clear the brush roll, then recharge the pack fully before testing again.
The E-550 motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds and then comes back on — is that the battery or a fault with the vacuum?
That cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a mechanical fault in the vacuum. Restricted airflow — a clogged filter is the most common cause — makes the motor pull more amps than the BMS protection threshold allows, so the pack shuts off briefly then resets. We reproduced this on the bench by blocking intake airflow and saw the same behaviour with a known-good pack. Check and clean the filter first; if the cutting-out stops, the battery was not the issue.
The replacement battery charged up but the E-550 seems to run out of charge much faster than the original did — what causes that?
Fast capacity loss on a new pack almost always traces back to how the previous battery was stored or charged. If the original pack was left on the dock continuously, the cells in the vacuum may have conditioned the charger's expectation — but a genuinely new cell at 2600mAh should outlast a degraded original. Run two full charge-to-depletion cycles without leaving the pack on the dock between them. If capacity still seems short after that, verify the filter is clear — a restricted motor draws more current than rated and depletes the pack significantly faster than a clean-airflow run.
