This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh (38.48Wh) lithium-ion battery pack for the Haier TAB-T322 Plus cordless stick vacuum and compatible models including the TAB-JD330WS, TAB-T331, and TAB-T520. It replaces OEM part number GH28. When the original cell degrades after repeated charge cycles and suction noticeably weakens before the indicator hits low, this is the direct swap.

  • TAB-T322 Plus / TAB-T331 platform fit: These models share the same 14.8V nominal voltage rail, GH28 connector format, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them works because the motor controller expects the same charge threshold and communication signal from the pack.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge-discharge cycles on the TAB-T322 Plus motor assembly. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-cell voltage, and the pack delivered consistent voltage under brushhead load without tripping overcurrent protection.
  • Dock charging habit on stick vacs: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Haier stick vacs on permanent dock connection accumulate trickle charge stress faster than almost any other cordless tool category. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when the pack is depleted.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when one or more cells in the pack age unevenly — the indicator reads average pack voltage while one cell sags under motor load. The motor controller sees a voltage dip and reduces power before the display shows a low-battery warning. A new GH28 pack with balanced cells eliminates this early sag. After fitting the replacement, run one full discharge cycle before judging suction performance.

Motor cutting out mid-clean then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery capacity problem. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than the rated load to maintain airflow — the BMS reads this as a fault and interrupts the circuit. The pack recovers once current drops back below threshold. Clean or replace the filter first; if the cutout continues with a clean filter, check that cell voltage at rest reads above 15.8V after a full charge.

My Haier TAB-T322 Plus loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the new battery going to fix this?

Yes, in most cases. Aged cells sag under motor load even when resting voltage looks normal, so the indicator stays green while actual power to the brushhead drops. A fresh GH28 pack with balanced cells removes that mid-clean voltage sag. Run one full charge-discharge cycle after fitting it before drawing conclusions.

The vacuum motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — I've already replaced the battery but it's still doing it.

That cut-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip caused by restricted airflow, not a faulty pack. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than normal to maintain suction, and the BMS interrupts the circuit to protect the cells. Remove and clean the filter thoroughly — or replace it if it's older than six months. If cutouts stop after that, the pack is fine.

The replacement battery isn't holding as much charge as it did when I first fitted it — it's only been a few weeks.

Early capacity fade almost always comes from continuous dock charging. Haier stick vacs left on the dock between every use accumulate trickle charge stress quickly, compressing usable cell capacity within weeks. Charge the pack to full, remove it from the dock, and only reconnect when it's fully depleted. After two to three properly managed cycles, check whether full-charge suction duration has stabilised.
