Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fmart YZ-X1 / YZ-X60 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery pack rated at 2600mAh (37.44Wh), built to replace the original cell in the Fmart YZ-X1 and related cordless stick vacuums. It fits the YZ-X1, YZ-X75, YZ-X60, YZ-X60C, and 14 additional models in the same family. Swap it in when the original no longer holds charge or triggers a low-battery cutoff too early in a cleaning cycle.
- YZ-X1 / YZ-X60 platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The motor controller expects a 14.4V nominal rail — feeding it anything lower causes premature low-voltage cutoff, even when cells still have capacity remaining.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the YZ-X1 platform. The BMS responded correctly to charge termination, over-discharge cutoff, and thermal limits. No fault codes triggered during sustained suction load.
- Dock charging habit on Fmart stick vacs: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. Continuous trickle charging on Li-ion cells accelerates capacity fade. Charge the pack fully, then remove it from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag problem, not a capacity problem. When the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated. The extra draw pulls the battery voltage below the motor controller's operating threshold before the cell is actually depleted. The indicator reads mid-charge, but the motor is starved of voltage. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before suspecting the battery.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause
This is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent event, not a dead battery. On Fmart stick vacs, sustained suction against a blockage — full dust bin, clogged filter, or restricted nozzle — spikes current draw beyond the BMS threshold. The pack shuts the output to protect the cells, then resets once temperature drops. Clearing the blockage and emptying the bin before the next run keeps current draw within the 2600mAh pack's rated limits. If it trips on a clean, unobstructed floor, verify the charger brought the pack to a full 16.8V before use.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Fmart vacuum has full battery but suction feels weak — is the new battery faulty?
Probably not the battery. Weak suction with a full charge almost always means the motor is being starved of airflow, not voltage. A partially clogged filter forces the motor to work harder, which drags down voltage under load and reduces suction output even when the pack reads full. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — suction should recover immediately if airflow was the cause.
The Fmart keeps cutting out for a few seconds and then starts again on its own — what's happening?
The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike and resetting once the cells cool slightly. This happens when the dust bin is near full or the brush roll is partially jammed — restricted airflow makes the motor pull more current than the pack's protection circuit allows. It is a different failure from low battery; the cells still have charge, the BMS is just cutting the output to protect them. Empty the bin, clear the brush roll, and check that the filter is clean — if the cutouts stop, the pack is fine.
The replacement battery charges on the dock but the vacuum still won't run — how do I fix this?
This usually means the pack charged but the BMS did not fully re-initialise after a deep-discharge event. Remove the battery from the dock, wait 60 seconds, reinsert it, and charge again until the indicator shows full. Then check that the charger is bringing the pack to 16.8V at the terminals — anything below that means the charger did not complete the charge cycle, and the motor controller will refuse to run the motor on an undercharged pack.
