Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RoboJet X-One 2 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CMICR18650F8M-4S1P)
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack for the RoboJet X-One 2 and X-One 2 Pro cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part CMICR18650F8M-4S1P using a 4S1P cell configuration. When the original pack no longer holds a charge, this unit restores the vacuum to full working condition without replacing the entire machine.
- X-One 2 and X-One 2 Pro compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use the same battery connector and BMS handshake protocol. A single pack covers either variant — there is no electrical difference between the two at the battery interface.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through the X-One 2 motor startup sequence and sustained suction load. The BMS held voltage above the cutoff threshold across both carpet and hard floor draw profiles, and cell balance remained stable through full discharge cycles.
- Dock charging habit on the X-One 2: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. The X-One 2 dock does not terminate charge current cleanly at full capacity. Continuous dock contact causes trickle charge stress on Li-ion cells and accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the BMS expects, usually because airflow is restricted. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling amperage above the battery's rated discharge curve. The BMS responds by throttling output voltage before the indicator registers low — so the vacuum feels weak even though the pack still has charge. Clean or replace the filter first, then test suction. If the problem clears, the battery was not the cause.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against heavy carpet pile or a partial blockage, current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack shuts off briefly to protect the cells. The BMS resets automatically once current drops, which is why the motor comes back on its own. Clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose, confirm the filter is clean, and check that cell voltage reads at or above 14.0V on a fresh charge before ruling out a degraded pack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my RoboJet X-One 2 lose suction halfway through a session even though the battery indicator still shows charge remaining?
A clogged or saturated filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes the BMS to throttle output voltage before the indicator reflects actual depletion — so suction drops while the display still reads normal. Check and clean the filter first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the problem. If suction stays weak with a clean filter, measure pack voltage under load — it should hold above 13.5V during normal operation. A pack that sags below that threshold under light load has degraded cells and needs replacement.
The X-One 2 motor cuts out for a few seconds during use and then starts again on its own — what is causing that?
That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained high draw against a blockage or dense carpet pushes current past the protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects momentarily to protect the cells before auto-resetting. It is not a faulty battery — it is the protection circuit doing its job. Clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose, clean the filter, and run the vacuum again. If the cutout stops, airflow restriction was the cause; if it persists on a clear airpath, the cells may be degraded and unable to sustain rated current.
My X-One 2 ran noticeably less per charge after I started leaving it on the dock between every use — is the battery damaged?
Continuous dock contact causes trickle charge stress on Li-ion cells because the X-One 2 dock does not terminate current cleanly once the pack is full. Over weeks, this compresses the usable capacity range and the pack fades faster than normal cycle wear would cause. If runtime per charge has dropped noticeably, the original pack likely has cell damage from prolonged dock exposure and replacement is the correct fix. With the new pack, charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock — do not use the dock as a permanent storage cradle.
