Fits Kärcher VC 4 Cordless myHome and VC 4 Cordless Premium myHome; replaces OEM part numbers 9.754-766.0 and 010036 6151.
25.2V and 2000mAh capacity delivers full motor torque on restricted suction paths without voltage sag cutoff.
Battery slides into the handheld grip slot with connector tab forward; locking clip engages when seated fully.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted full charge on a standard Kärcher dock charger without fault codes or delay cycles.
Do not leave this cell on the charging dock continuously—dock trickle charge degrades capacity fast on Kärcher vacuums; charge to full and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Karcher VC 4 Cordless myHome — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (9.754-766.0)

This 25.2V Li-ion battery at 2000mAh (50.4Wh) replaces the original pack in the Karcher VC 4 Cordless myHome and VC 4 Cordless Premium myHome vacuum cleaners. It uses the same cell configuration and connector as the factory pack. Swap it in when suction power drops or the original no longer holds a useful charge.

  • VC 4 Cordless myHome and Premium myHome compatibility: Both models run the same 25.2V six-cell architecture with an identical battery bay and BMS handshake. One battery covers either variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack on the VC 4 Cordless myHome under full suction load. The BMS held steady through the motor-start inrush current and maintained a clean cutoff at the low-cell threshold without false trips.
  • Dock charging on the VC 4 Cordless: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock indefinitely. The VC 4 Cordless does not actively manage trickle current the way high-end packs do — continuous dock time accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove it.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to pull the same airflow. That extra draw increases current and causes the battery voltage to sag earlier than the indicator expects. The vacuum feels like it's losing power, but the battery gauge still reads mid-range. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault. If voltage still sags under load with a clean filter, the cell capacity has degraded and a replacement pack is the fix.

Motor cutting out briefly then recovering during use

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. It happens when sustained restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — forces the motor to pull more current than the BMS allows. The BMS interrupts the circuit, the vacuum stops, and then restores power once the overcurrent condition clears. Check the filter and clear any blockage at the nozzle before assuming the battery is faulty. If the cutout persists on a clear filter and clean airways, verify cell voltage under load is holding above 21V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Karcher VC 4 Cordless myHome loses suction halfway through a session but the battery light still shows plenty of charge — why?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the battery voltage to sag under load even though the charge indicator hasn't moved. The indicator reads resting cell voltage, not load voltage, so the two don't match when the motor is struggling. Clean the filter and run again — in most cases suction recovers immediately. If it doesn't, check that load voltage stays above 21V during operation.

The vacuum keeps cutting out for a second or two then starting again on its own — is this the battery failing?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not cell failure. It happens when the motor is pulling more than the pack's rated discharge current — usually because the nozzle or filter is restricted. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets once current drops. Clear any blockage and clean the filter before replacing the battery.

I left the Karcher VC 4 Cordless on the dock all the time and now it barely holds a charge — did I damage the battery?

Yes — continuous dock charging on this vacuum applies a low-level trickle current that the battery management system doesn't fully cut off. Over weeks that degrades cell capacity faster than normal charge cycles would. The original pack is unlikely to recover meaningful capacity once this damage is done. Replace the battery and from now on charge to full, then remove it from the dock.
