Fits Klins KRV309, K185, K186, and K187 cordless vacuums, replacing OEM part INR18650-4S1P.
14.4V at 2600mAh delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a left-turn locking tab engagement.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted charge current without fault codes and held voltage under sustained motor load.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charging only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Klins KRV309 / K185 / K186 / K187 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650-4S1P)

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Klins KRV309 cordless stick vacuum and the K185, K186, and K187 models. It uses an INR18650 4S1P cell configuration to match the voltage rail and BMS profile the vacuum's motor controller expects. Capacity is sourced from product data at 37.44Wh.

  • KRV309, K185, K186, K187 compatibility: These four models share the same 14.4V motor platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake requirements — a single cell pack covers all of them without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and load cycles on the KRV309 motor controller. The BMS handled sustained suction load without overcurrent trip and communicated charge status correctly to the indicator circuit.
  • Dock charging on Klins stick vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on its charging dock continuously. Klins cordless vacuums trickle-charge when left docked after a full charge, which accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The KRV309 motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or debris path forces the motor to work harder at the same voltage. As cell voltage sags under that elevated draw, suction output drops noticeably even though the indicator still reads mid-range. The BMS reads pack voltage, not filtered airflow, so the indicator lags behind the real performance loss. Clean the filter first — if suction restores, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cutting out under sustained load and then recovering

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or a rug fibre caught in the head — the motor draws a spike above the BMS threshold and the pack shuts output. Clearing the blockage and pressing power again resets the trip. If the cutout happens on a clean, unobstructed floor, check cell voltage at the pack terminals after a full charge — a healthy pack should read between 16.4V and 16.8V at full charge before load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Klins KRV309 suction feels weak but the battery light still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?

The battery indicator on the KRV309 reads pack voltage, not motor output. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current, which causes voltage sag under load — suction drops while the indicator still reads mid-level. Pull and clean the filter first. If suction returns to normal, the battery is fine.

The motor on my Klins cordless vacuum cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on by itself — is the battery failing?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. It happens when airflow restriction spikes motor current above the BMS threshold — the pack cuts output to protect the cells, then resets. Check the nozzle, hose, and filter for a blockage and clear it. If the cutout still happens on a clean floor with no restriction, charge fully and measure pack voltage at the terminals — it should read 16.4V–16.8V.

My replacement INR18650-4S1P pack drains much faster than the original did when it was new — is that normal?

A new replacement pack should match original capacity at 2600mAh — significantly shorter duration compared to a new original cell points to filter restriction, not a bad pack. A blocked filter makes the motor draw above its rated current continuously, burning through charge faster than spec. Clean the filter thoroughly, run a full charge cycle, and test again on hard floor with no attachments. If drain is still unusually fast, check that the charger is reaching a full 16.8V termination voltage before removing the pack.
