Fits Pure Clean PUCRC25, PUCRC25_0, and PUCRC26B robotic vacuums; replaces OEM part 18650-3S15.
11.1V 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full motor current and suction power to this compact floor cleaner.
Connector slides into the vertical battery slot on the vacuum chassis with a single locking tab engagement.
We tested the BMS under restricted filter conditions — cell held steady at 11.1V until motor load spike, then tripped briefly and recovered, confirming proper overcurrent protection.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock between cleaning sessions — continuous trickle charge causes capacity fade; charge to full and remove from dock until the next use.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pure Clean PUCRC25 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (18650-3S15)

This is an 11.1V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Pure Clean PUCRC25, PUCRC25_0, and PUCRC26B robotic vacuum cleaners. It uses OEM part number 18650-3S15 and slots directly into the battery compartment on these models. Capacity is 2600mAh (28.86Wh) — matching the original specification.

  • PUCRC25, PUCRC25_0, PUCRC26B compatibility: These three models share the same 11.1V three-cell battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake requirements. A single 18650-3S15 pack serves all three without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the PUCRC25 platform. The BMS accepted the charger handshake without fault codes, and the motor control circuit drew current at rated levels across hard floor and carpet transitions.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the PUCRC25 sitting on the charging dock permanently. These robots on continuous dock power develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the battery's internal resistance has climbed enough that voltage sags under motor load — even though resting voltage still reads acceptable to the indicator circuit. The PUCRC25 motor draws a sharp current spike on carpet transitions and when suction is partially restricted by a full filter. That spike pulls cell voltage below the motor controller's operating threshold momentarily, reducing fan speed before any low-battery warning fires. Fitting a fresh pack with low internal resistance eliminates the sag. Clean the filter first — a blocked filter forces higher sustained current draw and will reproduce the symptom even with a new battery.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or debris jammed at the intake — the motor works harder to maintain airflow and sustained current climbs above the BMS trip threshold. The BMS cuts output to protect the cells, the vacuum pauses, and once current demand drops the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clearing the restriction is the fix. If the cut-outs continue after cleaning the filter and brush roll on a new battery, check the intake path for a partial blockage the brush roll inspection misses.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PUCRC25 starts strong but suction fades well before the battery light comes on — is the battery failing or is it something else?

Most likely it's both — a degraded battery with high internal resistance combined with a partially restricted filter. The filter restriction forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which accelerates voltage sag on a worn pack. Fit the new battery and clean or replace the filter at the same time. If suction still fades early after that, check the brush roll housing for hair wrapped tight enough to create drag.

The robot keeps stopping mid-clean for a few seconds, then starts again on its own — what's causing that?

That's the BMS tripping on overcurrent and auto-resetting once load drops. It happens when the motor is working against a blockage — full filter, tangled brush roll, or debris at the intake — and sustained current climbs past the BMS cutoff threshold. Clear every restriction point before running again. If it still trips on a fresh battery with a clean filter, measure pack voltage under load; anything sagging below 9.5V during normal operation points to a cell quality issue.

I leave my PUCRC25 on the dock all the time — could that have killed the original battery?

Yes. Robotic vacuums parked permanently on a charging dock receive a continuous trickle charge that holds the cells near 100% state of charge indefinitely. Li-ion cells degrade significantly faster when stored at high charge than when cycled and rested at partial charge. With the replacement pack, charge fully, then lift the robot off the dock. Return it to the dock only when the battery needs charging again.
