SereneLife PUCRCX10 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V, 800mAh Li-ion battery pack for the SereneLife PUCRCX10 cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original cell when capacity fade makes the vacuum cut out early or charge cycles drop noticeably. Same voltage, same form factor at 57 × 51 × 16.80mm.

• PUCRCX10 fit: This battery matches the PUCRCX10's voltage rail and connector pinout. The vacuum's motor controller expects a 14.8V Li-ion cell — substitute a different voltage and the BMS will either refuse to discharge or under-drive the suction motor.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a compatible platform, confirmed the BMS communicated correctly, and verified the protection circuit tripped at the expected undervoltage threshold rather than allowing deep discharge damage.
• Dock charging habit on the PUCRCX10: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. The PUCRCX10 dock does not actively manage trickle charge — continuous connection accelerates cell degradation. Charge to full, then remove from dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before battery indicator reaches low

This happens when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated load. The BMS reads the current spike as an overload condition and throttles output voltage before the charge indicator reflects the remaining capacity. The vacuum feels like it is running out of battery when it is actually protecting the cell. Clear the filter first — if suction restores immediately, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during use

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When restricted airflow causes the motor to labour, current draw spikes past the protection circuit threshold and the BMS disconnects output for a few seconds before resetting. An aged original battery with reduced capacity hits that threshold faster than a fresh cell because its internal resistance is higher. Replace the battery and clean the filter — if cut-outs continue on the new cell, the blockage is the primary cause.
