Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Tineco Floor 2.0 Slim — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CL1819)
This 21.6V 4000mAh Li-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the Tineco Floor 2.0 Slim and a broad range of Tineco stick vacuums including the Floor One 1.0, Floor One S3-01, and FM25-01. It slots into the same battery bay and connects via the same multi-pin BMS interface as the original. Capacity is 4000mAh (86.4Wh) — identical to the factory spec.
- Floor 2.0 Slim and compatible Tineco stick vacuums: These models share a common 21.6V battery architecture with a standardised connector and BMS handshake protocol. The Floor One S3-01, Floor One 1.0, and FM25-01 all run the same voltage rail and draw current through the same cell pack geometry, which is why one replacement part number covers all of them.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge-discharge cycles on the Floor 2.0 Slim platform and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the vacuum's motor controller. The pack accepted a full charge without fault codes and the low-cell protection cutoff triggered at expected thresholds.
- Dock charging habit on Tineco stick vacs: Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Tineco stick vacs on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
On the Floor 2.0 Slim, the motor draws more current the moment airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than the indicator reflects. The battery indicator reads state of charge, not load-adjusted voltage, so it can show two bars while the motor is already starved. The vacuum loses suction noticeably before the indicator catches up. Clean or replace the HEPA filter first — on a clear filter, full suction should hold until the indicator genuinely reaches low.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage — hair wrap at the brush head, blocked inlet, or a saturated filter — current draw spikes past the BMS trip threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear the blockage at the brush roll or inlet, then check filter restriction. If the trip repeats on a clear filter and clean brush head, measure resting pack voltage — a healthy cell should read 24V to 25V off charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Tineco Floor 2.0 Slim has noticeably less suction but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery going bad?
Not necessarily the battery. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drags the cell voltage down and cuts suction even while the state-of-charge indicator looks fine. Clean or replace the HEPA and pre-motor filters first — this is the most common cause. If suction restores after a filter clean, the battery is not the issue.
The motor on my Tineco stick vac keeps cutting out for a few seconds then restarting — what's causing it?
That's a BMS overcurrent trip. The pack disconnects when current spikes past the trip threshold — usually triggered by sustained suction against a blockage or a saturated filter, not by a faulty battery. Check the brush roll for hair wrap and clear the inlet, then inspect the filter. If it still trips on a clean machine, measure resting pack voltage with a multimeter — a healthy fully charged pack reads 24V to 25V.
I left my Tineco on the charging dock for weeks and now it runs noticeably shorter than it used to — is the new battery going to do the same?
Yes, if you repeat that habit. Continuous dock charging applies a sustained low-level charge to cells that are already full, and that trickle damages cell capacity over time — it's one of the most common causes of capacity fade in cordless stick vacs. With the replacement pack, charge it fully and remove it from the dock. Don't reconnect until the vacuum actually needs a charge.
