Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Tineco Pure One S11 Smart / S15 Series — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (VS15-02)
This 21.6V 2500mAh (54Wh) Li-ion battery fits the Tineco Pure One S11 Smart, Pure One S11 Tango, Pure One S15, and Pure One S15 Pet cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part VS15-02 and 9VSPT150000. Capacity figures come from the product data — not estimated from third-party sources.
- S11 and S15 platform compatibility: These models share the same 21.6V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them does not require any adapter or firmware change — the pack communicates charge state to the LED indicator on all listed models.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the S11 Smart platform. The BMS held cell balancing across the full discharge curve and triggered low-voltage cutoff at the correct threshold without false trips under sustained suction load.
- Dock charging behaviour on the S11 and S15: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the battery reaches full charge. Leaving it docked continuously applies a trickle current that accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells at this voltage — charge only when depleted and disconnect when full.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the pack can sustain at its current state of charge — not because the cells are empty. On the S11 and S15, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, spiking current draw above the BMS threshold. The BMS throttles output voltage to protect the cells, and suction drops noticeably even though the indicator still shows two bars. Clear the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before assuming the battery is at fault.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. The S11 and S15 motors pull a short high-current spike when suction is restricted — a blocked filter or tangled brush roll pushes that spike past the BMS cutoff limit. The pack disconnects to protect the cells, then resets after the current drops, which is why the vacuum restarts seconds later. Clean the filter and remove any obstruction from the brush roll, then restart — if the trip does not recur, the pack is functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Tineco S11 Smart shows a full charge but suction feels weak from the first pull — what's causing that?
A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw significantly more current than rated, which causes the BMS to cap output voltage to protect the cells — suction drops even though charge state looks fine. Remove and tap out the filter, check the brush roll for hair wrap, then retest. If suction restores to normal, the battery is not the issue. If the filter is clean and suction is still low, check the battery voltage under load — it should hold above 19V during operation.
The motor on my Pure One S15 keeps cutting out for a few seconds then coming back — is this the battery failing?
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not cell failure. The S15 motor pulls a high current spike when airflow is restricted, and if that spike exceeds the pack's cutoff threshold, the BMS disconnects and resets within seconds. Clean the filter thoroughly and clear any blockage from the brush roll. If the cutout stops after clearing the restriction, the pack is working as intended — repeat trips on a clean filter point to a weakened cell that can no longer sustain peak current draw.
My replacement VS15-02 battery is fading faster than the original did after only a few months — what went wrong?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of accelerated capacity fade on the S11 and S15 platform. Li-ion cells at 21.6V held at full charge under a trickle current degrade faster than cells that are charged and then disconnected. Charge the pack only when it is depleted and remove the vacuum from the dock once charging completes. Store the vacuum off the dock at around 50–70% charge if it will not be used for more than a week.
