Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Climet CI-150t / CI-152x / CI-153 / CI-154 Series — 9.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (800424)
This is a 9.6V, 11,400mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for Climet portable particulate counters used in cleanroom and environmental monitoring. It fits the CI-150t, CI-152x, CI-153, CI-154, and six additional models sharing the same OEM part number 800424. Voltage and cell count match the original pack exactly.
- CI-150t / CI-152x / CI-153 / CI-154 platform fit: These models share the same 9.6V battery architecture, connector pinout, and charge management circuit. One pack covers the full group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a CI-series unit. The onboard charge controller accepted the cell chemistry without fault flags, and the BMS held the cutoff threshold within expected range across all test cycles.
- Data preservation before swap: Download all logged particle count data before removing the battery. Some CI-series units store recent readings in RAM backed by battery power — pulling the cell before offloading data to a PC or USB export will cause those records to be lost permanently.
Why the CI-150t shows calibration drift after a battery replacement
A full power cycle clears the volatile memory that holds the instrument's last calibration reference values on some CI-series units. When the counter restarts without that reference, the laser particle sensor may report counts that sit outside your facility's baseline. This is not a battery fault — it is a known consequence of removing power from the calibration memory. Run a zero-count check with a HEPA-filtered inlet and recalibrate against your traceable standard before putting the unit back into service.
Counter powers on but won't log data after battery swap
After a cold power cycle, the CI-150t's data logging function can appear inactive — the display runs normally but no records are written to the log. The most common cause is the internal clock resetting to an invalid date, which causes the logger to reject new entries as out-of-sequence. Check the system clock immediately after first power-up on a fresh battery. Set the correct date and time, then confirm the log is incrementing before leaving the unit unattended in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions
My CI-150t lost all its particle count records when I swapped the battery — is there any way to recover them?
Once RAM-backed log data is lost from a power cycle, it cannot be recovered from the battery side — the records were held in volatile memory, not written to non-volatile storage until synced. Before any future battery swap, connect the unit to its PC software and export the full data log first. Some CI-series firmware versions allow a scheduled export via USB — check that setting in the system menu. Going forward, treat the battery swap as the last step after data offload, not the first.
Particle readings on the CI-154 are drifting high after installing the new battery — what causes that?
A power interruption clears the calibration reference stored in volatile memory on CI-series counters. The sensor itself is fine, but without its reference point it reports raw counts that don't align with your facility baseline. Attach a HEPA-filtered zero-count inlet, run a background check, then recalibrate against your traceable ISO standard before the unit goes back into rotation. Do not log production data until the zero-count check reads within your site's accepted threshold.
The CI-150t battery drains much faster in continuous logging mode than it did in standby — is the new cell faulty?
This is normal behaviour, not a cell defect. Continuous particle counting keeps the laser, photodetector, and log-write cycle active simultaneously, drawing significantly more current than standby. The 11,400mAh capacity is rated at a controlled discharge rate — real-world draw in active logging mode will be higher. If drain seems excessive even by that standard, check whether the sample interval is set to the shortest available setting, which maximises sensor polling frequency and accelerates discharge; increase the interval to match your actual monitoring requirement.
