Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech G733 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (533-000181)
This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original 533-000181 battery in the Logitech G733 wireless gaming headset. It restores wireless audio and LIGHTSPEED connectivity when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge. Dimensions are 51.00 x 39.60 x 6.00mm — confirm fit before installing.
- G733 platform fit: The G733 uses a fixed 3.7V Li-Polymer pack matched to its onboard BMS and LIGHTSPEED radio circuit. Voltage and connector position must match exactly — the BMS monitors cell state continuously and will not power the headset if either is off.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the G733 platform. The BMS accepted the pack cleanly, charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage, and the LIGHTSPEED receiver maintained a stable link throughout.
- First charge after installation: Place the G733 in its charging cradle and run a complete charge cycle before use. The headset's firmware uses that first full cycle to calibrate the battery state indicator — skipping it causes the charge display to read inaccurately from the start.
Why the G733 cuts out mid-session on a new battery
The G733 draws from both the audio amplifier and the LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz radio simultaneously. Under that combined load, a cell at partial or storage voltage can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold even if the indicator shows charge remaining. This is not a defective cell — it is the BMS protecting the pack from under-voltage. Running one full charge cycle before the first session brings the cell to operating voltage and prevents the sag-triggered cutoff.
Talk time shorter than rated across the first few sessions
Li-Polymer cells ship at storage voltage, not full capacity. On the first two to three cycles, usable capacity sits noticeably below the rated 1500mAh. This is normal cell behaviour — capacity builds toward rated spec across three to five full charge and discharge cycles. If talk time is still short after five cycles, check that the charging cradle contacts are clean and making solid contact with the headset's charge pins.

Frequently Asked Questions
My G733 is cutting out mid-game even though the battery indicator showed charge left — what's happening?
The LIGHTSPEED radio and audio amp draw current at the same time, and that combined load can pull the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff even when the indicator says there's charge remaining. This usually happens in the first few sessions on a new cell that hasn't completed a full charge cycle yet. Run a complete charge in the cradle before your next session. After three to five full cycles the cell reaches rated capacity and the sag-triggered cutoffs stop.
The charging cradle shows a full charge but the headset shuts off after only a short time — is the new battery faulty?
Almost certainly not. The cell ships at storage voltage, which is lower than a true full charge — the cradle's indicator can show green before the cell has actually reached 4.2V. Seat the headset firmly in the cradle and leave it for a complete charge cycle without interruption. Check the charge pins on both the headset and cradle for debris, then confirm the cell reads at or near 4.2V before removing it.
The G733 feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment during long sessions — is that a problem?
Sustained draw from the combined radio and audio circuits in a compact housing generates heat, and some warmth during extended use is within normal operating range for a 3.7V Li-Polymer cell. It becomes a concern if the headset is hot to the touch or if the BMS starts cutting power unexpectedly — that points to the cell being pushed past its thermal limit. Keep charging sessions to the cradle only, avoid charging on USB power banks, and let the headset cool to room temperature between long sessions.
