Fits Acer Iconia One 7 B1-750 tablet; replaces OEM part number AP14E4K.
3.8V, 3400mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full charge capacity to the B1-750's processor, display, and WiFi radio.
Connector attaches flat to the motherboard dock; locking tab seats flush against the tablet's internal battery slot.
We bench-tested this cell across three charge cycles; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS without voltage drift.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display after the swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Iconia One 7 B1-750 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AP14E4K)

This 3.8V, 3400mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the AP14E4K cell in the Acer Iconia One 7 B1-750 tablet. It fits the 7-inch Android tablet directly, restoring power to the display, processor, and radios. Dimensions are 94.55 × 85.70 × 3.20mm — confirm clearance before installation if your unit has any aftermarket internals.

  • B1-750 fit confirmation: The B1-750 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack rated at 3.8V nominal. OEM part numbers AP14E4K, KT.0010G.007, KT.00104.001, AP14E8K, and KT00104001 all cross-reference to this cell configuration and connector pinout.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the B1-750 board. The charge IC accepted the new cell without fault flags, and the BMS communicated state-of-charge data correctly to the OS after a calibration cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not manually power it off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full-range reference against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining on the B1-750

This happens when the display backlight and active WiFi pull current simultaneously, causing a brief voltage sag at the cell terminals. If the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to an aged cell, it maps this sag to a much lower state-of-charge than the new cell actually holds. The BMS then triggers a protection cutoff before the cell is genuinely depleted. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the reference table and eliminates these premature shutdowns.

B1-750 showing wrong battery percentage after replacement

The fuel gauge IC on the B1-750 board stores a charge map built around the original cell's internal resistance and capacity curve. A new cell has different characteristics, so the reported percentage drifts — often reading 80% when the cell is nearly full, or jumping from 40% to 10% with no warning. This is a calibration issue, not a faulty battery. Force one complete cycle: discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with the screen off. After that single cycle the gauge tracks within a few percent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fast charging stopped working on my B1-750 after I swapped the battery — is something broken?

Nothing is broken. The USB charge controller on the B1-750 re-negotiates the charge protocol on the first accepted cycle after a cell swap, and until that cycle completes it defaults to standard 5V charging as a precaution. Charge the tablet fully once from near-empty to 100% without interruption. Fast charge resumes on the next session once the controller has confirmed the new cell accepts the higher current profile.

My B1-750 percentage drops fast from 100% down to about 70%, then slows down — why?

This is fuel gauge drift caused by the IC using a charge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell. A fresh cell holds more energy in the upper voltage range than the worn cell did, so the gauge over-reports the drain rate at the top of the curve. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff — do not force a power-off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The gauge recalibrates its upper-range reference and the percentage drop rate normalises after that single cycle.

The B1-750 feels warm near the charging port while charging the new battery — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth at the charge IC area is expected on the first few cycles with a new cell. The charge controller draws slightly more current during the initial bulk-charge phase because the new cell's internal resistance is lower than the worn cell it replaced, which increases power throughput and generates more heat temporarily. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch or the warmth persists beyond the first three charge cycles, check that the cable and adapter output match the 5V/2A spec printed on the original Acer charger.
