Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer neoTouch P300 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (S11B03B)
This is a 3.7V, 900mAh Li-ion battery for the Acer P300 and neoTouch P300 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers S11B03B and BT.0010X.002. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold charge through a normal day of calls, messaging, and screen-on time.
- P300 and neoTouch P300 fit: Both models run the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with an identical connector and BMS handshake, so one cell covers both variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a P300 unit, confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without error flags, and verified the charge IC ramped to full charge current without thermal cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the P300 after a cell swap
A new cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the degraded cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. When the modem fires a burst transmission or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes. If the fuel gauge IC still expects the old cell's curve, it can allow discharge past the point where the new cell can sustain the minimum voltage rail — the phone cuts out even though the reported percentage looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle with the screen on and mobile data active forces the coulomb counter to re-anchor to the new cell. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.
P300 reporting wrong battery percentage after replacement
The fuel gauge IC on the P300 stores a learned discharge model from the previous cell. A fresh 900mAh cell has different internal resistance and a steeper end-of-discharge curve, so the IC's stored model no longer matches reality. The result is percentage readings that jump erratically or plateau at values like 50% before dropping fast. Drain the battery fully until the phone powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this gives the coulomb counter a full reference sweep and corrects the reported percentage within one to two cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Acer P300 feel warm near the battery area during the first few charges after swapping the cell?
A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a cell that has been cycled. The charge IC on the P300 pushes current into that higher-impedance cell, which converts more energy to heat than usual. This is normal for the first three to five charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone stays warm beyond five cycles or gets hot to the touch, check that the replacement cell is seated flat and the back cover is not compressing the cell.
My P300 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — is the cell dead?
A Li-ion cell that has been stored discharged can drop below 2.5V, which triggers a BMS lockout to prevent damage from over-discharge. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect it to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it climbs above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.8–3.0V, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
Fast charging stopped working on my P300 after I put in the new battery — the phone just charges slowly now.
On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the P300's charge IC may default to a conservative constant-current rate while the BMS verifies the new cell's parameters. This is a deliberate handshake, not a fault. Run one full charge to 100% at the slow rate without unplugging early. On the second charge cycle, the charge IC should recognise the cell as verified and restore the normal charge rate. If slow charging persists after two full cycles, confirm the charger output matches the P300's required input voltage.
