Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ADT WTS700 Resideo 7" Wireless Secondary Color Touchscreen — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (P69NV19)
This is a 3.8V, 2800mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the ADT Resideo WTS700 7" Wireless Secondary Color Touchscreen. The WTS700 is a wireless secondary panel used with ADT alarm systems for remote control and monitoring. This cell replaces OEM part P69NV19 when the original no longer holds adequate charge to keep the panel operational.
- WTS700 panel compatibility: The WTS700 operates on a 3.8V Li-Polymer cell because the panel's wireless comms module and touchscreen controller share a single low-voltage power rail. Swapping to any other voltage or chemistry causes the panel to fault on startup or refuse to charge.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the WTS700 charge cycle and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell without triggering a fault code. Float voltage stabilised at 4.35V, consistent with the panel's charge controller spec.
- Post-installation charge conditioning: Do not run a zone diagnostic or alarm test immediately after fitting this battery. Allow the panel to sit on mains power for 24–48 hours so the cell reaches full float charge. Running a test before this window often causes the panel to report a low battery fault even though the cell is functional.
Why the WTS700 reports low battery hours after a new cell is fitted
The WTS700's onboard charge controller does not mark the battery as fully charged until the cell has completed a full float-charge cycle. A freshly fitted cell ships at a partial state of charge — typically 40–60%. Until the panel's BMS has completed its acceptance cycle, it continues to flag a low battery warning. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Leave the panel connected to mains for at least 24–48 hours and the warning will clear once the cell reaches 4.35V float.
WTS700 losing alarm programming during a mains power outage after battery swap
If the panel loses its programming configuration during a mains outage shortly after a battery replacement, the new cell had not yet been accepted by the BMS as a valid backup source. The panel's memory retention circuit draws from the battery the moment mains drops — if the cell is below the BMS acceptance threshold, the panel treats it as absent and cannot sustain programming. Fit the replacement cell, restore mains power, and allow a full 48-hour conditioning window before testing backup behaviour. After conditioning, confirm the cell reads at or above 3.6V on standby.

Frequently Asked Questions
The WTS700 still shows a low battery warning after I've just put in a new battery — is the replacement faulty?
It is almost certainly not faulty. The WTS700's BMS does not recognise a new cell as fully charged until it has completed a full float-charge cycle on mains power. A replacement cell ships at partial charge, so the warning persists until the cell reaches 4.35V. Leave the panel on mains for 24–48 hours and the warning will clear on its own.
My WTS700 lost all its alarm settings during a power cut the day after I replaced the battery — what happened?
The panel's programming is held in memory backed by the battery the instant mains power drops. If the new cell has not yet been accepted by the BMS as a valid backup source, the panel treats the battery as absent and cannot retain settings. Restore mains, allow 48 hours of uninterrupted charging, then confirm the cell reads at or above 3.6V on standby before the next outage.
The WTS700 touchscreen went dark and unresponsive mid-use — the battery was fully charged yesterday, what causes this?
A Li-Polymer cell that has degraded through shallow cycling loses usable capacity faster than its resting voltage suggests. The panel's wireless radio module draws a brief high-current burst during sync events, which can pull a weakened cell below the BMS undervoltage cutoff even when the display shows adequate charge. The BMS then disconnects the cell to protect it, causing the sudden blackout. Fit the replacement cell and allow a full charge to 4.35V before resuming use.
