Fits Agfa 4Ti digital camera, replaces OEM battery CS-NP900.
3.7V, 600mAh Li-ion cell powers image capture and sensor processing on the 4Ti platform.
Connector slides into the camera battery compartment with a single locking tab; orient the contact pins toward the chamber back wall.
Tested on the Agfa 4Ti body — BMS accepted the cell on first insertion with no authentication delay or voltage-threshold errors.
On first use, run one full charge cycle inside the camera body before extended shooting — the 4Ti BMS maps battery percentage display to this cell's discharge curve during initial charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Agfa 4Ti — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Agfa 4Ti digital camera. It slots into the same battery compartment as the original cell and powers the camera's image capture and processing functions. Capacity is 600mAh (2.22Wh) — identical to the factory spec.

  • Agfa 4Ti compatibility: The 4Ti uses a compact Li-ion cell on a 3.7V rail with a small physical footprint — 43.70 x 31.30 x 7.00mm. This replacement matches those dimensions and voltage exactly, so the battery door closes fully and the camera powers on without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS held voltage within expected thresholds across the full discharge curve, and the camera body accepted the cell without throwing a rejection flag on repeated power-on tests.
  • First charge cycle on the 4Ti: Run the first full charge directly through the camera body or the OEM charger before shooting. Some compact camera BMS systems need one supervised charge cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve correctly for the battery-remaining indicator to read accurately.

Battery percentage jumping on the Agfa 4Ti display after fitting a new cell

The 4Ti's battery indicator maps remaining charge against a voltage-threshold curve calibrated during the first charge cycle. A new cell that hasn't completed that cycle presents a slightly different discharge profile, so the camera misreads position on the curve. The indicator can jump from 80% to 40% or skip steps entirely. One full charge cycle from flat to full — inside the camera or OEM charger — lets the BMS recalibrate and the readout stabilises.

This happens when the replacement cell has rested at a low state of charge during storage and its open-circuit voltage has dropped below the camera's low-battery detection threshold — typically around 3.4V on a 3.7V nominal cell. The camera reads that as a depleted or faulty battery and refuses to boot. Place the cell in the OEM charger for 15–20 minutes to bring it above 3.5V, then reinsert it. The camera should power on normally from that point.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Agfa 4Ti shows a dead battery symbol the moment I insert the new replacement — is the cell faulty?

Not necessarily. Replacement cells often sit in storage long enough for their resting voltage to drop below the 4Ti's minimum boot threshold, which sits around 3.4V on a 3.7V nominal cell. The camera interprets that as an exhausted or bad battery and won't start. Put the cell on the OEM charger for 15–20 minutes to push it above 3.5V, then reinsert — the camera should power on cleanly.

The battery percentage on the 4Ti is jumping around erratically after I fitted this replacement — what's happening?

The 4Ti maps its fuel gauge against a voltage-threshold discharge curve, and that calibration expects data from a charge cycle the camera itself supervised. A new cell that came off storage without that cycle presents a slightly mismatched discharge profile, so the indicator skips or jumps instead of counting down smoothly. Run one complete charge from flat to full inside the camera body or OEM charger, and the readout will settle into normal step-by-step behaviour.

Shot count on my 4Ti seems noticeably lower than I expected from a 600mAh cell — why?

The 600mAh rating is measured under a steady low-current load, not the burst draw pattern a camera uses. Every shutter actuation, LCD refresh, and image write to the card pulls current in short spikes that exceed the steady-state test condition. Cold ambient temperatures also increase internal resistance and reduce usable capacity from the same cell. Turn off the LCD review function between shots to cut one of the larger continuous draws and extend the shot count per charge.
