Fits Agro R800Li cordless mower, replaces OEM battery for 25.2V blade motor operation.
25.2V at 13800mAh delivers 347.76Wh to sustain cutting cycles without mid-row shutdowns on standard lawn conditions.
Slide-lock connector seats into the R800Li pack bay with positive terminal forward, locking tab clicks audibly when seated.
We ran a full discharge cycle on test mower; BMS held steady under blade load and showed no early cutoff at 20% remaining capacity.
Before first spring use, bring this cell indoors overnight if outdoor temps are below 10°C — cold Li-ion cells trigger blade motor inrush cutoff on the R800Li's BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Agro R800Li — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 25.2V, 13800mAh lithium-ion battery is a direct replacement for the Agro R800Li cordless lawn mower. It fits the R800Li platform and restores full cutting power when the original pack has degraded. Voltage and capacity match the factory specification exactly.

  • R800Li platform fit: The R800Li runs a 25.2V Li-ion architecture with a blade motor that draws high inrush current on startup. Any replacement pack must match this voltage rail and carry a BMS capable of handling that motor-start surge without tripping on the first cut.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated blade-motor start events on the bench, including simulated thick-grass load conditions. The BMS held through inrush spikes and managed cell balancing correctly across discharge cycles.
  • Seasonal storage before first spring use: Before the first cut of the season, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance, and the blade motor inrush current can trip the BMS on a cold pack before it has warmed to operating temperature.

BMS cutoff during thick-grass or wet-grass cutting

The R800Li blade motor draws a sharp current spike every time it bites into dense or wet grass. If the BMS reads that spike as an overcurrent event, it cuts the pack instantly to protect the cells. This is not a fault with the battery — it is the protection circuit doing its job. Let the mower sit for five minutes so the BMS resets, then resume cutting at a slightly lower pace through heavy patches.

Charger refusing the pack after winter storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months of inactivity. If the pack voltage drops below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 20V on a 25.2V system — the charger will show a fault or simply refuse to begin a charge cycle. Most Agro chargers have a recovery mode: connect the pack, wait 10 minutes, and the charger attempts a low-current trickle to bring cells back above the acceptance floor. If the charger light shifts from fault to charging within 15 minutes, the pack is recovering normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My R800Li cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — what's causing that?

This is thermal protection triggering under sustained high load. The BMS trips when cell temperature or current draw exceeds its threshold, then resets once the pack cools. It happens most often when cutting long rows of thick or damp grass back-to-back without pause. Allow a 5-minute rest between runs in heavy conditions to keep the BMS from cycling in and out.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old pack did after a full cut — is something wrong?

Warmth during the first several cycles is normal. Fresh cells haven't yet settled into their full electrochemical cycle, so internal resistance runs slightly higher and generates more heat until the cells condition. Run five full discharge-and-charge cycles and the heat output will drop to a stable level. If the pack is too hot to hold comfortably after a standard cut beyond those first five cycles, that's worth investigating further.

My R800Li loses power noticeably on the first cold-morning cut of the season — is the battery failing?

It isn't failing — Li-ion capacity drops measurably below 10°C because cold cells have higher internal resistance and can't deliver current as freely. The R800Li blade motor's inrush demand makes this more obvious than it would be on a lighter-draw device. Store the battery indoors the night before a cold-morning cut and let it reach room temperature before use. That alone will restore most of the lost cutting capacity.
