Wiper Runner XH / One XH Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V lithium-ion replacement battery rated at 13800mAh (347.76Wh) for Wiper cordless lawn mowers. It fits the Runner XH, Runner XHD, One XH, One XHD, and 18 additional models in the same platform family. Same voltage, same connector, same BMS handshake as the original pack.

• Runner XH and One XH platform fit: These models share a common 25.2V architecture, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol. A single replacement pack covers the full XH and XHD lineup without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through blade-start inrush cycles and sustained load draws. The BMS held cutoff thresholds correctly across simulated thick-grass resistance loads and recovered cleanly after thermal events.
• Seasonal storage protocol: Before storing the mower over winter, discharge the pack to around 50% — not flat. A fully charged Li-ion pack left sitting for months degrades faster than one stored at half charge. Check it every 6–8 weeks and top it up slightly if it drops below 30%.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The blade motor on the XH series draws a sharp inrush current when it bites into dense or wet grass. If the pack is already warm or partially depleted, that spike can push the BMS over its current threshold and trigger an immediate cutoff. This is a protection response, not a fault in the battery. Slow your forward pace on heavy sections and let the blade reach full speed before entering thick growth — this reduces peak draw and keeps the BMS within its window.

Charger shows fault light after mower sat unused all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months. If the pack drops below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage, the charger's acceptance circuit sees it as a damaged cell and refuses to initiate a charge cycle. This is a voltage threshold check, not physical damage. Some chargers have a recovery or wake-up mode — hold the charge button for 10 seconds or check the manual for a trickle-start sequence. If the charger has no recovery mode, a Li-ion compatible bench charger set to trickle at 0.1C for 15–20 minutes can bring the pack back above the acceptance threshold, after which the standard charger will take over.
