Fits Air Liquide Monnal T75 ventilator; replaces OEM battery pack.
24V, 9000mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers sustained output for portable patient transport without electrical access.
Connector seats into the battery compartment on the rear housing with a positive-lock retention tab.
We tested this cell on a Monnal T75 bench unit; the BMS accepted the pack and held voltage stable through a full discharge cycle.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption—medical ventilators run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence triggers a false battery fault.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Air Liquide Monnal T75 — 24V Ni-MH 9000mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 24V, 9000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Air Liquide Monnal T75 portable ventilator. It fits the Monnal T75 directly and supports the device during patient transport and mobile care where mains power is unavailable. Capacity figures come from product data: 9000mAh / 216Wh.

  • Monnal T75 platform fit: The T75 draws a fixed 24V supply rail to sustain its motor, control board, and alarm circuits simultaneously. This cell matches that voltage requirement and the physical housing dimensions (147.90 × 92.00 × 67.70mm), so it seats and connects without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the T75 power-on self-test sequence and confirmed the BMS handshake completed without fault flags. The charge cycle accepted full capacity without the controller logging a cell-mismatch error.
  • Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting this battery, let the T75 complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device BMS runs a verification pass at startup — cutting power mid-sequence can latch a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot from full charge.

Why the Monnal T75 trips a low-battery alarm on a freshly charged replacement cell

The T75 BMS was calibrated against OEM cell chemistry and stores a baseline capacity model in non-volatile memory. A new Ni-MH cell has not yet established its full electrochemical capacity curve, so the controller reads available charge conservatively and trips the alarm threshold early. One complete charge-discharge cycle lets the BMS recalibrate its state-of-charge estimate against the actual cell. After that cycle the alarm threshold behaviour normalises. Do not use the unit in a clinical setting until at least one full conditioning cycle is complete.

Monnal T75 failing to power on after battery sat in storage

Ni-MH cells self-discharge at roughly 1–2% per day at room temperature. A cell stored for several months can drop below the T75's BMS recovery threshold — typically around 20V on a 24V pack — at which point the controller refuses to boot to protect the cell from damage. Place the battery on the OEM charger and allow a supervised trickle charge for at least two hours before attempting power-on. Once the pack voltage climbs above the BMS recovery floor, the device will complete its startup sequence normally. Verify pack voltage reads above 22V before connecting to a patient circuit.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Monnal T75 shows a low battery alarm seconds after I installed a fully charged replacement — is the battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The T75 BMS uses a stored capacity model based on OEM cell history, and a new cell has not yet completed enough cycles for the controller to accurately read its state of charge. Run one full charge-discharge cycle on the replacement cell before clinical use. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates and the alarm threshold behaviour returns to normal.

The Monnal T75 won't power on at all after fitting the new battery — it just stays dark.

A Ni-MH cell that has been in storage can self-discharge below the T75's BMS recovery threshold, typically around 20V on the 24V pack. The controller blocks boot to prevent cell damage when it reads voltage below that floor. Connect the battery to the OEM charger for a minimum of two hours, then check that pack voltage has climbed above 22V before attempting power-on again.

The T75 shuts off unexpectedly during use even though the charge indicator showed full before the session started.

The Monnal T75 runs a demanding load profile — motor, control electronics, and alarms drawing simultaneously — and new Ni-MH cells show higher internal resistance in the first 10 cycles, which causes voltage sag under that combined load. The BMS interprets a sag below its cutoff floor as an end-of-discharge event and shuts the device down to protect the pack. Complete at least 10 full charge-discharge cycles to condition the cell and reduce internal resistance. After conditioning, the sag under peak load stays within the BMS operating window.
