Fits Alcatel One Touch POP 4 and POP 4 LTE models; replaces OEM part numbers TLp025H1 and TLp025H7.
3.8V, 1750mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 6.65Wh to restore full call, messaging, and app runtime on degraded batteries.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the cell contacts.
We cycled this cell on the POP 4 platform; the BMS accepted voltage ramp and delivered stable discharge without premature cutoff.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with stock charger before resuming normal use—the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel One Touch POP 4 / OT-5051 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TLp025H1 / TLp025H7)

This is a 3.8V Li-ion cell rated at 1750mAh (6.65Wh), replacing OEM part numbers TLp025H1 and TLp025H7. It fits the Alcatel One Touch POP 4, One Touch POP 4 LTE, OT-5051, and OT-5051X. The connector, physical footprint (70.65 × 61.90 × 4.30mm), and BMS communication lines match the original cell.

  • OT-5051 and OT-5051X compatibility: Both variants share the same voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, so a single cell covers the full OT-5051 lineup without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an OT-5051 unit and monitored BMS charge termination. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and charge current tapered as expected near full capacity.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. The fuel gauge IC on the POP 4 calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step leaves the IC reading against the old curve and percentage reporting will be inaccurate.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the POP 4 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw rises sharply. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, it reads 25% state of charge while the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS trips and the phone shuts down with percentage still showing on screen. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity curve and eliminates these false cutoffs.

POP 4 not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will show nothing — no charging animation, no response to the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port, which may not supply enough current) and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, typically around 2.9V, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The POP 4 shows 25% battery and then cuts off completely — is the new cell faulty?

The cell itself is almost certainly fine. The POP 4's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it reads voltage incorrectly under load spikes from the modem or screen. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate with fast charging disabled. After that single cycle the coulomb counter re-anchors to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery — the phone just charges slowly now.

This is normal on the first cycle after a cell swap. The POP 4's charge IC runs a verification handshake with the new BMS before enabling higher charge current, and on an uncalibrated cell it defaults to standard rate as a safeguard. Complete one full charge cycle at standard rate first. On the second charge, reconnect the original fast charger — the handshake will complete and high-current charging will resume.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 40%, then goes back up.

Erratic percentage readings are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a sign the cell is defective. The IC's internal model of the cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship is still mapped to the worn original cell. To fix it, discharge the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session with the screen off where possible. After one clean cycle the percentage will track steadily — if jumping persists beyond three cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated and the contact pins are clean.
