Fits Asus ZenFone 4.5 and A450CG; replaces OEM part C11P1403.
3.7V and 1700mAh capacity matches original output for normal daily usage periods.
Connector slides straight down into battery slot; locking tab seats flush against frame.
We ran full discharge cycles on the bench; BMS accepted charge current without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging runs.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenFone 4.5 A450CG — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1403)

This is a 3.7V, 1700mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Asus ZenFone 4.5 (A450CG). It replaces OEM part numbers C11P1403 and 0B200-01070000. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds a useful charge or has swollen past safe use.

  • ZenFone 4.5 / A450CG fit: Both model designations share the same PCB layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both. The 59.90 × 56.10 × 4.30 mm footprint matches the OEM battery bay with no case modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge acceptance, BMS cutoff, and over-discharge recovery on the A450CG. The BMS triggered protection at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge cycle without thermal events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the ZenFone's fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes early percentage jumps.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the A450CG after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the worn cell it replaces. The ZenFone's fuel gauge IC still references the old curve, so it misjudges remaining capacity. Under modem or display load, the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the OS sees 0% — and the phone shuts off. One full discharge cycle from 100% down to auto-shutoff, then a full charge, forces the coulomb counter to resync. After that cycle, the reported percentage should track the actual cell state within a few percent.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charge cycles

A fresh Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. The A450CG's charge IC pushes the same current profile it used on the broken-in original, and the higher resistance in the new cell converts more of that energy to heat during the first two or three charges. This is expected and tapers off as the cell's impedance drops with use. If the phone stays warm past the fifth full charge cycle, check that the back cover is fully seated — poor thermal contact with the chassis can trap heat near the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZenFone 4.5 powers off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The ZenFone's fuel gauge IC calibrated its coulomb counter to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff before the OS counts down to 0%. Run one complete discharge cycle — let the phone shut off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — and the gauge will resync to the new curve. If shutdowns persist past three full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery — what happened?

On the first cycle, the ZenFone's charge controller can fail to negotiate the fast-charge handshake with a new cell's BMS because the BMS registers as uncalibrated. Drain the battery fully until the phone shuts off, then plug into the original charger for a full uninterrupted charge. Most users see fast-charge resume on the second or third cycle once the BMS has completed one validated charge pass.

The phone won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V the BMS will have entered lockout mode to prevent damage. Plug into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it connected for 30–45 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs time to trickle current into the cell and bring it above the BMS wake threshold, typically around 3.0V, before the phone will respond to a power-on press.
