• MT1100A platform fit: The MT1100A uses a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion configuration. The BMS on this device validates cell voltage at startup against internal thresholds before enabling full operation. Batteries outside that voltage window are rejected before the device completes its boot sequence.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load discharge, monitoring BMS communication and cutoff behaviour. Charge the battery to full before the first installation, then allow the device to complete its boot cycle uninterrupted.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge

On the first charge cycle, the MT1100A's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to an uncharacterised cell. This can cause the indicator to plateau at 90–95% and stop climbing. It is not a fault — the charge controller is running a cautious first-pass algorithm. Complete a full discharge followed by a second uninterrupted charge cycle. The indicator should reach 100% and the BMS will log the cell's capacity baseline from that point forward.
