Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C12N1419)
This is a 3.8V, 7850mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi detachable tablet. It fits the tablet portion of the T100 Chi and T100CHI-FG003B, replacing part number C12N1419 or 0B200-01300200. At 29.83Wh, it matches the original cell specification for the T100 Chi tablet chassis.
- T100 Chi tablet compatibility: The T100 Chi uses a slim 2.60mm cell profile that sits flush behind the tablet display panel. Both listed OEM part numbers — C12N1419 and 0B200-01300200 — reference the same cell and connector configuration in this tablet, so either number confirms the correct fit.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the T100 Chi platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage, and the charge IC cycled without thermal events.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.
Why the T100 Chi shuts down at 15–25% battery remaining
The T100 Chi's fuel gauge IC stores a charge map calibrated to the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that map is stale. The tablet reads voltage and calculates remaining charge using old curve data, which causes it to call an early shutdown well before the cell is actually empty. Running one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the fuel gauge IC to re-learn the new cell's voltage curve. After that single cycle, the shutoff threshold moves back to its correct low-voltage point near 3.0V per cell.
Fast charging not available on the T100 Chi after battery replacement
The T100 Chi's charge controller validates the battery state before enabling higher charge rates. On a freshly installed cell with no charge history, the controller defaults to a lower conditioning current until it completes one accepted charge cycle. Plug into the original Asus adapter — third-party chargers that don't negotiate the correct voltage profile will stay in slow-charge mode regardless of cycle count. After one full charge cycle on the correct adapter, the controller enables the standard charge rate for the T100 Chi platform.

Frequently Asked Questions
My T100 Chi is showing 60% battery but just shut off — why?
The fuel gauge IC in the T100 Chi is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. With a new cell installed, it misreads the remaining charge and triggers an early shutdown before the battery is genuinely depleted. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% on the Asus adapter. That single full cycle resets the fuel gauge map and pushes the shutdown threshold back to the correct low-voltage cutoff near 3.0V.
The battery percentage on my T100 Chi drops from 100% to 70% within the first few minutes of use — is the battery faulty?
This is fuel gauge drift, not a cell defect. The charge controller estimates percentage from a voltage-to-capacity curve it learned on the original battery. Against a new cell, the top-of-charge voltage reads differently and the percentage collapses fast until the curve stabilises. Complete one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. The gauge recalibrates against the new cell's actual curve and the drop from full charge normalises.
Fast charging stopped working on my T100 Chi after I replaced the battery — the adapter hasn't changed.
The T100 Chi charge controller defaults to a low conditioning current on any cell with no charge history. It won't enable the higher charge rate until the battery completes one accepted full cycle. Confirm you're using the original Asus adapter — the controller requires correct voltage negotiation to step up from conditioning mode. Complete one full charge to 100% on that adapter and the standard charge rate for the T100 Chi will enable on the next session.
