Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 model SM-T567 and SM-T567V, replacing OEM battery EB-BT567ABA.
This 3.8V 7300mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity on tablets showing rapid drain or shutdown below 20%.
Connector seats flat against the logic board with a single locking tab; orientation marked on the adhesive backing.
We bench-tested this pack on SM-T567 hardware — the fuel gauge IC initialized correctly on first charge with no BMS faults.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% to recalibrate the fuel gauge against the new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BT567ABA)

This 3.8V, 7300mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the OEM EB-BT567ABA cell in the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6. It fits SM-T567, SM-T567V, SM-T560NU, and the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 XLTE. Capacity and voltage match the factory specification exactly.

  • SM-T567 and SM-T560NU compatibility: These variants share the same 3.8V battery rail, connector footprint, and charge IC handshake. One cell fits all listed models without modification to the connector or housing tabs.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an SM-T567V. The BMS held charge termination correctly at 4.35V and triggered low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold without early shutdown or overcharge fault codes.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installing this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force-stop it — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

Galaxy Tab E 9.6 shutting down at 15–25% remaining

This shutdown pattern is a voltage cliff, not a capacity failure. Under combined screen-on plus WiFi load, the cell voltage drops sharply below what the fuel gauge predicted. The system reads the voltage drop as critical and triggers an emergency cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the fuel gauge map and eliminates the premature shutdown in most cases. If it persists after two calibration cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially engaged connector increases resistance and amplifies the voltage sag under load.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement on SM-T567

The Tab E 9.6 uses Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charging protocol, which requires the charge IC to complete a full accepted charge cycle before the negotiation handshake is stored. Immediately after a swap, the device may fall back to standard 5W charging. Plug in the original Samsung charger — not a third-party cable — and allow one complete charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charge availability restores and the negotiation behaves normally on subsequent charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Tab E 9.6 is showing 60% battery but just switched off without warning — is the new battery faulty?

This is a fuel gauge IC issue, not a cell defect. The gauge was calibrated to the old battery's voltage curve and cannot accurately predict the new cell's cutoff point. Run the tablet to automatic shutoff under normal use — screen on, WiFi active — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single full cycle, the gauge remaps to the new cell and the sudden shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my SM-T567 is jumping around — it dropped from 45% to 12% in two minutes after I installed the replacement.

That's fuel gauge drift caused by the IC still referencing the old cell's discharge profile. The percentage readout is unreliable until the gauge recalibrates. Discharge the tablet fully to automatic shutoff, then charge it straight to 100% in one session without unplugging. One complete cycle is usually enough to stabilise the readings; run a second cycle only if the jumping continues.

The Tab E 9.6 feels warm on the back while charging with the new battery — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during charging is normal when a charge IC works through its first few cycles on a fresh cell. The charge IC runs slightly higher current as it characterises the new cell's internal resistance. Surface temperature up to around 38–40°C during charging is within spec for this tablet. If the back becomes hot to the touch or the device displays a temperature warning, disconnect the charger and check that the battery flex connector is fully clipped down — a loose connection raises resistance and generates excess heat.
